Re: Quick Questions

Hi there, bought a one day scarefest freedom ticket online (£20) delivered today, and it says valid from 9 pm, does this just indicate that it is a freedom ticket or had something gone wrong ? Cheers :)

Re: Quick Questions

Hi  :) just a few quick questions: Booking a stay in the hotel for the 28th of October for scarefest, but planning on going to the park on the 28th and 29th, we received a quote of over £450 online and we were wondering whether it would be cheaper to buy the room and tickets separately on the p...

A 1.0 litre 51 reg VW Polo, not too shabby for a first car, insurance is around two grand even with a box fitted  :|

Re: Accidents at Alton Towers

I took the skin off my knuckles on RMT coming into the station, I was riding a bit too 'casually' with my arms hanging out

I don't think it was a devastating accident for the park to deal with

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion

It's all sounding very promising, don't know whether anyone has specified but how rough would you say some of the last inversions are?
Spine shattering or are people just being picky?

Re: The Towers Times Football Discussion 2013

Bradford City fan here and I think we may have had a pretty good season, Wembley twice to be promoted to league 1 after an amazing 3-0 win over Northampton yesterday...

Oh and we did beat Arsenal, Villa and Wigan in the league cup - don't think we'd do too badly in the premier league

Re: The 'How busy will it be?' Topic

Looking to go any day between 5th and 16th of June as we have a gap between exams then, just wondering which day would be quietest as I'm sure there will be lots of school trips, would people recommend the weekend over the midweek?  :)

Here is my first post on this account: I have been lurking on this forum under various names for over 8 years now  :O "I wouldn't call the back 'rough' but as expected it is an altogether more intense experience... For me it seems to be a lot smoother than it was when i first rode, however...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

I would imagine that if the needles were to move at all, they would move from a position higher up, then fall down to a safe distance from the train, still creating that head chopper moment with out the risk of any dodgy lawsuits  Beaten to it  doubt it'll happen though  :D
