Re: 2015 Scarefest

He has a central control room where he can control all the electrical systems, and all the actors can set the shows...

So basically I have the main entrance plaza, an abandoned fairground type thing, a space area, an African plain bit, a western zo...

Re: 2013 Scarefest

Hi, I'm going on the 24th and I was wanting to go on Zombie Scare-Zone and The Carnival of Screams. I was wondering how intense they are (Live Actors, SFX ect) cause I get scared quite easily :/ but I don't want to miss them out as I've never been on them. The Sanctuary and TotT are a no go for me ...

Re: ATR Monopoly

The old version was £40 but i got it at the end of the season for £20. I think the only the difference between mine and the new one is the smiler. I would just wait until the end of the season and you can probably get it for less.  :D

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion

Going on Sunday Can I get fastrack at main entrance? I don't thinks so, i think you can only get them from the guest services place on towers street. The only piece of advice I have is to go and buy it as quick as possible!!  :) There was only a small handfull left when we got ours at opening ...

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion

Got my fastrack for 13:15 and it was shut when we got down.. what I don't understand is why it re opened at 17:15 but shut at exactly 6... We were non the wiser that it had reopened until we heard the last people on it screaming. It wasn't all bad though as we got our tickets and fastracks revalidat...

Re: Quick Questions

Sorry if this is the wrong topic to post this: Does anybody know if the X52 Bus from Nottingham (Broadmarsh) is currently still running service to Alton Towers? If so, does anyone happen to know departure and arrival times, as well as prices for a same-day return ticket? Me and a friend are plannin...

Re: Scariest Ride?

Air and th13teen are probably the least scary, if you are scared of going upside down then air should help with that somewhat as its just like laying on your back!

Re: Which Do You Prefer: Air or Th13teen?

I voted for Air because I think the ride itself is better than Th13teen. However As an experience what with the theming and location, Th13teen is much better. If they incorporated Air into a more futuristic area of the park then it would be a much better experience. As I and many people have said be...

Re: Alton Towers Taxis

Would it not be cheaper to get the train from Derby to Uttoxeter, and then the 32A to Towers? I'm aware the train is incredibly infrequent, as is the bus, but surely it's cheaper? yes i suppose it would be if i was on my own... i should of probably mentioned about splitting the taxi cost between th...
