Re: News: Reduced Attraction Operating Hours

I'm sure there are very valid reasons for this line-up to be the ones reduced, but i really cant see how air, possibly 13 are in it... Congo River Rapids, The Flume, Battle Galleons, Skyride, Driving School, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory I can see the reasoning though. In my opinion working the...

Re: News: Reduced Attraction Operating Hours

Disappointing to say the least, however it's a personal improvement to the closing rides entirely scheme. Minus duel it doesn't effect me too much though as I tend to do Air mid day, and start on Nemesis, then do Sub-Terra, so I can still hammer Nemesis from Half 9 till gone 10, do Sub-terra once or...

Re: Alton towers in...

Write down what you think Alton towers (or just the towers, if you think there will be no alton towers after a certain date) will be like in 1. 5 Years 2. 10 years 3. 30 years 4. 50 years 5. 75 years 6. 100 years 7. 500 years 8.  1000 years 5 years- Nothing different to what it is today. 10 ye...

Re: Queueline mystery?

Indeed Saz 2007 did have a live actor. It was a much better concept too, the front door was 'locked' so you had to go through the outdoor queue which has an actor (well a grave digger, just aimlessly walking around). Then when you got to the door a servant let you in, you then walked straight throu...

Re: Nemesis: Sub-Terra Discussion (**contains spoilers**)

Also noticed the OP Cabin, depending on where you're sat it really is noticeable, especially when the rest of the room goes dark. Hopefully just a temporary measure which will be sorted very soon, the experience it's self minus that 1 small issue has improved considerable amounts and the ride has go...

Th13teen trimmed yet again?

According to a post on Facebook by "CoasterLive"  Th13teen has received yet more trims after it's carousel style section. I visited on Tuesday however hadn't noticed any form of trims meaning they must have been installed very very recently if true, the ride runs slow enough as it is ...

Re: 2 Day Tour of AT

Most people use buy one get one free vouchers which is even cheaper than the online price. ERT is a very very quiet time for the park as is the last hour or so usually quiet where you can take in a lot of rides. 2 days will be more than enough to take everything in, I once visited at the end of Augu...

Re: Your Favourite Park Area

Katanga, the theme is incredible there and reminds me of some European parks on hot days, unfortunately the rest of the park doesn't feel like it used to in that respect anymore. I really miss UG Land too though, to me the dark forest just feels like another downbeat dark gloomy area that's not the ...

Re: Towers Steet Fastpass?

Usually try rush past the upselling which is a shame as Tower street was a highlight of every visit for me before entering with the towers and walking gradually down before running ;) I do absolutely love the Ice Cream van though! bit of fun and makes me smile when I walk by, great little touch, esp...

Re: Are the restaurants open for a while after the park closes?

Not been by in a while but I'm pretty sure the restaurant in between Hex and Dark Forest is usually open for an hour after park close, it used to be at least.
