Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019

Had a run through yesterday and we both really enjoyed it.

Also surprised that the photo they took at the entrance was a free download.
Just gave us a receipt with the code to enter on the picsolve website.

Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

I have seen on Facebook that the car parkings gone up to £7.00 now. This on the back of the lockers doubling in price a few weeks back. Not sure if you can still get 2 consecutive days parking for the price of one though. They dont advertise that but it was available the last couple of times we did ...

Re: Rumba Rapids

Been to to Thorpe this weekend. Rapids were back open with the waterfall on in the tunnel. The water guns on that and tidal wave and storm surge were off. There is a member of staff in a life jacket and rescue kit overlooking the lift and one sat on a hill on the final bend with the same kit on and ...

Re: Drayton Manor

Really?

Someone has lost their life.
They are handling it as people would expect them to ie respectfully.
The hse will probably be on site tomorrow carrying out work which means that corner of the park would be closed off anyway.

It's the correct call in my opinion

Re: Drayton Manor

From the Scum website It is believed the girl’s teacher, said to be from Jameah Girls Academy in Leicester, was on the ride with her and four of her classmates. But it is thought she stood up as the vessel crashed through waves halfway through the five-minute ride and toppled over the side. It is un...

I can't imagine it's that expensive.
Our local travelling fair (Billy Bates) had him visit for a day last year.
It must have paid off though as loads of delirious girls queued up for a photo

I spoke to Richard today as part of my radio job. He was on to promote a show nearby. I asked him off air about the park and he said he felt they had done what they could with the place and he sold it 2 weeks ago. As has been mentioned he will still licence the sooty attraction there to the new owne...

Re: CBeebies Land 2014 - General Discussion

I took my granddaughter yesterday and I must say the area looks great. The allotment was great fun and the staff excellent. We didn't try the postman pat ride but I was disappointed with the night garden ride. The Ninky Nonk train that I had seen going around a track in opening day videos was a stat...
