Re: SW8

From what I've seen, one of the paths which isn't currently open to the public will be opened up. I've drawn up a rather bad diagram but it should give a general idea for possible construction entrances. http://i.imgur.com/4RnzkcQ.jpg But this footpath you show is behind the constructed fence. Re: Planned But Never Built

Awesome stuff there! Wasn't there also a planned broomstick coaster around gloomy wood that never got built? Correct me if I'm wrong. :) I wish some of them woodies were built, would've loved a circus themed woodie! I believe this is featured in one of the sections of the towers times website under ...

I was re reading the LTDP last night, one thing it hints at is that the flume site will not be an SW site
not a secret weapon site. This does not rule it out as a family ride site.

Re: Nemesis Inferno

The reason i have my so called obsession with Inferno is because its smooth, remember able, forceful tbh and the dizziness at the end is just a good sensation. I'd say the force of Inferno is constant where as Nemesis is just on the helix if im honest... Also imo it is unique in the fact that you c...

Re: Gloomy Wood Future

I think Gloomy Wood is an area that has a range of opportunities but has not been taken advantage of yet. I completely understand that tree felling restrictions are in place but I am convinced there is room somewhere in this area for a new ride. In an ideal situation I would love the instillation o...

Re: Nemesis Inferno

Really don't understand the hate for inferno. Its got high g force a great drop and is nice and smooth (the latter 2 i can't say for the original nemesis, especially the smoothness of the ride) sure its not the most unique layout but its certinetly alot better than the batman clones, and i'd go as ...

Re: Gloomy Wood Future

I like the idea of a maze next to the house, a traditional one with out the actors, but it would still have to have a few surprises in there. I think it should be kept family friendly. I think the first idea was really good, just not for gloomy wood (maybe a charlie replacement). Its not gloomy eno...

Re: Flug der Damonen - Heide Park - Opening 2014

Well, IMO (I know I'm going to have people on my back about this) but I was loving the layout and the theme, but then we get this:/ the theming has been done ott at the very least, to much in one place. It slows down so much after the Immelmann, and the turn at the end looks rather violent. They mi...

Re: SW8

Will a 4d even work In the park? They need alot of room similar to a b&m wing rider and also it needs to be tall. I could see more of a water coaster which is pirate themed on the flume site.

Re: Rollercoaster Tycoon 4

Now this is awful. I am confident that the PC, what they call, "experience" will be literally be a browser based facebook game, very much like the widely known Farm-ville. 'Hey, your ride is being constructed! Come back in 5 hours!', I can imagine it saying. To fight that, I made an onlin...

Re: SW8

If Merlin are so obsessed with the "worlds ......." status, even if they built the cross valley woodie as SW8 and got planning consent, they could market it as the worlds tallest drop on a wooden rollercoaster. If the plans are true, then a 200ft drop down in to the valley would be higher...

Re: MI7 Strikes again... First glimpses of CBeebies Land

Cbeebies land is looking great and will be a good addition to the park. The smiler has had some work so hopefully a problem free season awaits. Rita and Th13teen are looking quite nice. These photos help to see the height of rita which you don't really notice until you get a view like this. Nemesis ...

Re: Flug der Damonen - Heide Park - Opening 2014

I would disagree with you there. What theme:theming would you say this coaster has and what theming does it include that you could see while riding the coaster that would add to the experience? You have the bridge at the base of the first drop, the shop is also a piece of theming, there are the sur...
