Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

Does anyone know what the best time to experience The Attic is? Such as if there is a difference between day or night? As it’s completely enclosed inside the Towers, the time of day doesn’t make any difference to the maze experience itself. When you’re queuing outside it may be slightly spookier to...

Someone that reported this on FB, brought up an interesting theory. What if they are relocating Detonator? New investment for Thorpe Park and Chessington World Of Adventures?

It doesn’t appear to be a relocated Detonator as the plans indicate a capacity of 16 riders, compared to Detonator’s 12.

Re: Forbidden Kingdom Drop Tower - New for 2021

All in all, fantastic news from the park. Really hoping these plans get approved, and if so, I might have to return next season. Upon closer inspection of the planning documents, it appears this would open in 2021, with Rameses removed and Flying Jumbos relocated this closed season, and then constr...

Re: Dreamworld Australia

Dreamworld have today announced new attractions for both their theme park and water park. Probably of most interest is the Mack triple-launch coaster, which takes the layout of Blue Fire and adds both a "stall and reverse twisted half pipe" and a train which has a free-spinning car (as wa...

Anyone know exactly where in Duplo Land this will be? Is it replacing anything?

It’s going along the path connecting MINILAND and Duplo Valley. I don’t believe there are any existing attractions in the location.

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

The Resort appears to have updated their FAQs to confirm the return of 'scaremosphere', that will once again include Galactica Airways and Ghost Pirates, along with the roaming actors from the Dungeon.

THE LEGO MOVIE World - 2021

As reported on SouthParks News , Legoland Windsor Resort have submitted plans to redevelop Adventure Land. Plans suggest that the Resort could be getting its very own THE LEGO® MOVIE™ World, similar to the one opened in LEGOLAND Florida Resort earlier this year. Although originally included in the L...

Re: Howl-o-ween

As posted on SouthParks social media , Chessington have begun advertising audition dates for Howl’o’Ween 2019 . The role description seemingly reveals that a new scare attraction, Spyders, will join this year’s line-up. It also suggests that Creepy Caves: Unearthed will be back for a third year, whi...

Gardaland have today announced that they will open a LEGOLAND Waterpark in 2020. Could this be the start of the integration of LEGO into attractions outside of the LEGOLAND theme parks and Discovery Centres following the recent takeover of Merlin? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D-77QNmXYAA3CgX.jpg:lar...

Re: Project 2020

I do believe at least part of the reason why we haven't seen any hints of a major new development from Thorpe yet, is due to the fact that a decision is still yet to be made on their permitted development rights application. My understanding is that this is due to an ongoing dispute with the develop...

Leek Signs have posted some photos of new posters which have been added to the exterior black walls. Also, if you look closely, it appears that the permanent fire torches have now been installed on the entrance facade - I'm not sure how recent a development that is. https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn...

Interesting that they've created new positions of Development Director at both Resort and Midway divisions.
