Re: 2014 Scarefest

Hi guys, Just thought I would share a few thoughts on Scarefest from Saturday Night. The park was absolutley packed - even Duel had a queue (I have never seen this before) and waited over 2 hours for The Smiler! The mazes were good - The Sanctuary was great - Terror of the Towers was predictable and...

Re: CBeebies Land 2014 - General Discussion

Was at the Park yesterday and thought I would share some photos of the construction. Nothing apart from a few diggers and all, most of the old Ice Tent is now gone. Expect it will step up a gear once the public have gone. http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/hh532/Themeparkmania/DSCF9263_zps242701f6....

Re: Chessington 2013 General Discussion

Hi Guys, Got back from Chessington's Halloween Hocus Pocus yesterday and I have to say I am very very impressed! First of all I want to comment on the park. Usually Chessington is one of the best dressed in my opinion but apart from a huge amount pumpkins there wasn't much else. Although it was only...

Re: Thorpe Park 2013 General Discussion

Hi guys, Went to Fright Nights yesterday and wanted to share my thoughts with you! First off I have to say starting the event so early is awesome because at 8pm last night nothing had a queue over 5 mins it was awesome! Parque De Atracciones - Madrid

Hi Guys, Couldn't find a top on this theme park so thought I would start one as I absolutely loved this place! After visiting last week I have to say that the park is one of my favorite. It has a brilliant line up of rides and although some of the attractions don't have huge ammounts of theming I th...

Is it just me or is this year one of the worst ever for downtime? Went the other day and Air, Smiler, Submission, Rita & Thirteen were down!

Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach General Discussion

I have recently visited the BPB and I have to say that is one of the best days out I have ever had! The park was very quiet but it was a beautiful day. I fell in love with wooden roller coasters when I was at BPB as all of the other ones I have ever ridden really hurt! These ones were like riding ar...

Re: Lightwater Valley 2013 Discussion

Thanks for this little review. I plan to head up to Yorkshire during the summer to check out Lightwater Valley and Flamingo Land instead of the usual AT and TP. Can I ask (if it's not personal), why you got wheeled out of The Ultimate? I know it was partly built by British Rail engineers so I'm hop...

Lightwater Valley 2013 Discussion

Having recently visited Lightwater Valley for the first time I thought I would share some thoughts on the park. One thing I can highly commend is their friendly staff and customer service. The ride lineup was fully available that day to. My top 3 rides I loved were The Ultimate, even though I was wh...

Flamingo Land Resort 2013 (New Developments)

I wanted to discuss this highly underated park! I Went to Flamingo land the other day for the first time. After hearing many things about the park I was a bit dubious but I thought I should try it out. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. Mumbo Jumbo & Kumali are great rides which suit...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Great pics !! Cant help but notice that the vertical lift looks strange ? The shape or design just look strange compared to most coasters with a v lift ! It's probably just me or it's probably nothing out of the ordinary for gersh coasters but i dunno .. to me it looks strange ? Any one else think ...

Re: Chessington 2013, Zufari discussion

Zufari I thought that the ride was very well thought out, needs time to settle in and grow. The preshow was funny and I like the idea behind that and the talking lemur. The animals were all hiding because it was to cold but the expeirience was pretty good. I thought the cave finale was pretty poor t...
