Re: Queue Times at PortAventura in Summer

I went in the first week of September last year. The weather was still great and the park wasn't overly rammed. It was busier than I had anticipated, but in one extremely busy day we did all the main attractions. Also the late night openings are still available during that first week of September

Re: Thorpe Park Fright Nights 2013

^Agreed, personally I think it is a shambles compared to Alton Towers Scarefest. It completely lacks any atmosphere, soul-less in my opinion

Re: Best themed Coaster Thorpe VS Alton...

I feel the latest two additions at thorpe i.e.The Swam and Saw the ride are by far the best themed coasters. I am yet to ride The Smiler, but from pictures it looks like it could be up there.

Re: Possible purchase for Merlin?

It would be a disaster, Merlin would never be able to keep Busch Garden's Tampa looking as beautiful as it does. The only realistic option is if Universal make a swoop for the Busch parks.

Re: PortAventura - May 2013 (inc 2 for 1 Details)

They must be a seasonal thing then. I went for the first time in September 2012 and the offer was on with the chuppa chups sweets then. Also Shambhala is definitely the best coaster I have been on (and I've been and done some of the best in Florida). AND completely agree that Dragon Khan is a massiv...

Re: Rameses' Revenge Incident

How much more bad luck and bad press is chessington due, such a shame. Currently the best ride there for older adventurers.

Re: Coaster Corner's Future

All the indoor coasters we have had in this country have been done to a tacky standard in my opinion. The theming of The Mummy ride and Rock'n'rollercoaster is what set's them apart. If noise is the issue with why coaster corner has been abandoned then surely enclosed rides done to a professional st...

Neither duelling dragons aka dragon challenge on here?

In that case montu, excellent theming, nice height and some nice near misses in the pits.

Re: universal studios brand new area

Just a quick question,  how would the avengers ride work when Disney produced the film They already have the rights to other marvel characters (Spiderman, Hulk, Dr Doom etc) due to Marvel Super Hero Island at Islands of Adventure. My guess is that the rights they own from marvel would mean the...
