Re: Galactica - 2016 Air Re-theme

Evening Folks - Just back from multiple rides on Galactica. In my honest opinion, a mass improvement on what Air formally was. I felt the graphics were great, although much harder to interpret once over the brow of the lift hill due to the fast changing environments. Given this, i felt the tunnel an...

Re: Planning Application for Enhancements to Air

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the marketing was the potential of VR implementation - But with throughput in-mind, I'm unsure as to how it'll work.

Evening Folks,

Any VIP Passholders in here know when the release date will be for new buyers? Also the cost?

Re: The ride you have queued up the longest for at Alton is???

4 Hours for Oblivion back in 2004 (i think), Sky gave away free tickets to most of their customers, never seen the park so busy.

Re: The Smiler - Other Discussion

Does the Smiler have a front row queue, or are you just placed and if so can you wait to get on the front? Other question is regarding the Inoculator, do you feel the effect if your not on the front row? Be a shame to miss out on effects depending on your seating On opening day i rode at around 18:...

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion

Got to the park at 5pm (only live 30mins away and have a merlin pass so i shot up after work) - Got in the queue just before 5:30 - Just as we were about to load onto the train it broke down for around 30 minutes then we were straight on the front row, ...

I just need to know. The second airtime hill. Is it as good as it looks? Be honest..

The second airtime hill is the best part of the coaster, it was undoubtedly the most intense section.

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

I don't see why people are starting a battle against the folk that are annoyed that the ride opening has been delayed once again? For enthusiasts and people that have followed the construction of this ride and seen every teething problem arise throughout, this is massively weak. 1000's of people fro...

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

Was on park yesterday, whilst stood gazing at the construction site a member of staff came up to me asking what i thought of the Vertical Lift, I gave my opinion - He then went on to state that theres more than meets the eye, i asked if he knew the real cause for the fins and he confirmed affirmativ...

Y'know, as much as I want to see the footage of the ride testing, I'm so glad they have kept most of the ride a secret, unlike Th13teen, I don't know about you guys, but it's building the anticipation quite a lot! We need an opening date!

Thirteen footage was released the day before opening man!

Re: Infusion...love or hate?

I went on Infusion today, along with most of the other coasters at BPB it was terribly rough, the over head restraints are at temple height, not a pleasant ride at all!

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

When I was on Takabisha, the ride broke down at the top and the OTSR's came up before coming back down automatically and locking then dropping us, it didn't get back to the station though it stopped at the brake run and the engineers were not sure what was stopping it until they discovered the fron...
