Re: Phantasialand

So errr... Word on the street is that F.L.Y has had its final track piece installed.. like last month.. apparently 2 supports still wait in the car park as work on the hotel is needed first before adding the final pieces..

Anyone heard anything recently? Or new photos or news?

Re: Flamingo Land

I'm just looking forward to riding this coaster, and not having my shoulders hurt after with the new trains :lol

So apart from the first drop being different to Colossus, is there any other differences?

Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach

They're not lying when they say you can get soaked on Valhalla! I really enjoyed Icon but I did find a lot of their other rides to be rather uncomfortably rough. Bear in mind, that a lot of the rides at Blackpool were made before the mid 1940s to 50s.. so the fact Grand National is going to be 85 y...

Re: London Entertainment Resort - General Discussion

I'm actually okay that Wallace and Gromit pulled out, think the Blackpool ride is enough for me :lol

Let's hope it's just an area that can be walked through with shops and such, and not a main area with rides..

Although this is still good news for the park, let's hope things start moving now.

Re: SW9

The area behind Cloud Cuckoo Land is rather large for a new themed area, however this area is used for storage and other mishaps currently. A flat ride or 2 with an addition of a coaster, (being SW9), could be a likely opportunity.. however, with a new theme park opening in Sheffield soon, and with ...

I'm not gonna lie, I'm getting big vibes from American Adventure in 2 of those pictures.. might just be me.

It's great to finally see something of it, will be good to see the park next year!

Re: Wicker Man - General Discussion

So, has there been any new additions to the ride? Specifically the maintenance shed section.. just curious is all. Any confirmation that may be a yes or no would be appreciated :) In a word, no. There have been no modifications to the ride over the closed season. The maintenance shed is exactly the...

All they need now is to fix the marmaliser effects and it should be like it was 2013/2014 (besides the amazing roar)

Emm.. and the original audio, and signage around the area don't forget!

Awaiting the season "Halfway Corrected" is brought back.

Not gonna lie.. the marketing art looks way better than the actual structure itself.. reminds me of the face used on Hex at Alton Towers..

Still good though! Just not the same as intended I think.

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

As someone who enjoys a bit of cosplay every now and again, I can say that the Fortnite characters are pretty good I guess.. Sonic could be a lot better.. but what in the world is that Mario and Luigi costumes.. Literally looks like they have gone to the party store 'LuvUBabes' and got a cheap outfi...

Where in that FAQ did it state they have no major plans in the next couple of years?

I can only see the Long Term Development Plan, if that is what you are referencing?

Re: Project 2020

With Robin Hood at Walibi Holland being converted to RMC.. Merlin have to realise that with the success of Wicker Man for one, and with the re-opening of Colossus at Heide Park (is that right?) Then either another GCI in Loggers place, or to really up the game, RMC. With the competition of other par...
