https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EJKJAp6U0AAPeb9?format=jpg Even though Hong Kong itself is in a bit of a rough situation currently, the park is still underway with the castle transformation and frozen land expansion. Above is the current state of the castle and below is an image straight from imaginner...

Re: Dubai Parks & Resorts

An update on the new coasters, so one of the coasters on site is apparantly a Maurer Spinner, which was due to go to the Six Flags park, location is under consideration between motiongate and bollywood. The S&S Free Spin is apparently going to motiongate and is rumored to be themed to the Saw fr...

I think this ride needs another overlay, how expensive would it be to make new VR sections?

Long answer short: Very Expensive.
VR design involves 360 3D sculpting, animation, audio design plus a lot more. Not a simple process and something I highly doubt merlin would invest in again.

Re: Ferrari World - Abu Dhabi

So Ferrari World has pulled a sneaky one on us and have started construction on a new family coaster! https://rcdb.com/17741.htm#p=105048 Meanwhile over at Mission Ferrari, still no word on an opening, but they've painted a mural. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EELvQn3WkAMjxRT.jpg plus heres a sneak pi...

Six Flags Qiddiya

From the ashes of 2 failed middle east Six Flags projects can it be 3rd time lucky? Six Flags Qiddiya in Saudi Arabia has officially been unveiled, to be located in a new entertainment district outside of Riyadh and will open in 2023. “Our vision is to make Six Flags Qiddiya a theme park that delive...

Re: Tayto Park

Whist this is bad news and they will have to re evaluate their expansion plans. It does also mean that they can improve on their original plans. Because in my opinion, the coasters planned had quite whack layouts. Make them different, add a few sound proofing methods, reduce the height and maybe put...

"A Dubai firm will pay $7.5 million to Six Flags after abandoning plans to build a version of the U.S. amusement park in the United Arab Emirates amid a slowdown in the economy. DXB Entertainments, which runs Dubai Parks & Resorts, said Tuesday it agreed with Texas-based Six Flags Entertain...

Re: London Entertainment Resort - General Discussion

Updated website https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D-Ez33SW4AAhYk5.jpg A teaser for the plans were dropped. Shows a few coaster squiggles, one of which I'm pretty sure is a Maurer Spike (weird choice based on how unreliable and apparently boring they are), plus I believe it will go here, based on the plan...

Re: When Is Immersive TOO Immersive?

Whilst I love how Galaxies Edge looks and the tech involved makes me so excited, I do see issues with the staff in these areas. Imagine you are a tired dad who doesn't want to be at this expensive park, when suddenly your child wants to do the lightsaber building thing. You go up to the kiosk to boo...

Re: Dubai Parks & Resorts

So I popped into the resort for the first time in over a year the other day and I'll do a full report but here are some short observations. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D7pW4-ZXsAA6V-s.jpg Legoland Hotel is coming along very quickly and is dwarfing the entire area of Riverland, I have a feeling its g...

Re: The Future Of Th13teen

The drop if fine in it's current state. The only improvement that could be made would be that the drop is all in 1 as opposed to a small drop then the main one as I feel the small one ruins the surprise. As someone whos been on Darkmare/Inferno at Cinecitta World (same type of ride as 13), I can sa...

Tokyo DisneySea WOW! After 8 months since getting back from my trip, I've finally finished my Asia trip reports!!! So what better park to top it off than Tokyo DisneySea! Re: Project 2020

See, thats what I don't understand. If last year was a medium/ large year why didn't they listen to the people and bring in a coaster. How does the money get sucked into FN if 2018's wasn't the best year on park? A new flat for 2020 is possible in my opinion however, they need to start before the t...
