Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Totally off topic but I promise it won't happen again :) two questions: 1. Why does everyone seem to hate Rita? 2. Why does everyone believe nemesis is the king of all coasters, whys it so amazing? Sorry I was born late 90's so not sure what the hype is about with all the different inverts today :)...

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

I still support the possibility of the Washing effect. I recently remember the first construction pictures and I remember that there was on the pictures of the early pieces of track a box covering part of the ride which is the place for the possible washing effect. Now if there wasn't going to be a...

Re: The Smiler - Marketing [May Contain Spoilers]

On the old video it says it is in the early 1900s, surely it can't be linked to the new ones?

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

Possibly something similar to the shotgun shots in the saw queue line, as so to raise tension.
They make me jump every time!

I think the Smiler trains, if floorless, could be like this.

Re: So... about SW8

I seriously doubt the reality of SW8 being an absolutely stunning coaster. Unless I have fallen for the hype of The Smiler, I refuse to believe any other coaster could beat it in quality, and I would place my bets on this being classed as the best roller coaster in the world. SW8? Probably a small s...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

I don't see why people are still speculating a launch, surely the game confirmed there were 2 lift hills, not launches?

Re: THI3TEEN after three seasons:

Thirteen is still a great ride, although the only thing that lets it down is that newcomers to the park, when seeing the ads (that generally display it as a high intensity, scary coaster) would make them think that, with the final result being a family coaster.

Re: Oblivion

My idea is that the cars would split up at the top of the drop, one half going before the other, then rejoining at the end of the brake run.
It would give a sense of uncertainty to when it will drop.

Less complicated though would be to just randomise when the drop is.

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

There have been many speculated elements, however the 'washing machine' is probably the most likely and any other elements would probably overwhelm the ride in my opinion.

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

Also on the picture of the upgrades screen, next to the marmaliser, there is "TOP SECRET", also shpwing what many of us believe to be the secret element, probably the washing machine.

They have finished it, but are waiting for the right time to release it.
