Re: Cloud Cuckoo Land Replacement

A left field suggestion....Horrible Histories. Maze at Warwick Castle is quite fun. Am sure sure with a film out this year it has been considered and could create a number of rides and attractions. It won’t be but  after a day at Warwick popped into my head!

Re: Room on the Broom - A Magical Journey

Mini review of the attraction..... Went to Chessington yesterday and experienced a Room on the Broom. The park was not very busy, most queues around 15 mins or walk on in places at times. Only Vampire, Rattlesnake, Dragons Fury had anger queues at times. The queue for Room of the Broom stated 75 min...

Re: Chessington - General Discussion

Was at the park yesterday and Tiger Rock was open until it broke down in the afternoon. They were sending round empty boats at around 5pm so not sure if it reopened. SeaStorm Open but Black Buccaneer in pieces, boat in place, A frame absent.

Re: Flamingo Land

I am sure it didn’t say this on the Roller Coaster Database a few days ago....https://rcdb.com/13811.htm
is there another one lying around somewhere no one knows about?
Shame, as would add to Flamingoland’s expanding offer and continue putting it on the map. Great park.

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

I’m a teacher and we do annual reward trips to Thorpe Park (y9+10) and Chessington (y7+8) with several coaches going to each. Usually they register with the teacher (one teacher has about 10-12 kids to check) every 2 hours or so. We usually give the. A 30 minutes window, Invariably kids are stuck in...

Re: Chessington - General Discussion

The staff just did their best in an impossible situation. We saw the lift hill of Dragons Fury, and the people stuck there. Staff were with them and they were ferrying water to them. The park was busy, some longish queues. Zufari throughout was not good as it was running in two trucks, but queues ra...

Re: Chessington - General Discussion

Was at Chessington today. Thought staff that we encountered did well given tough circumstances. We had just finished riding Monkey Swingers and were walking towards the sea lion show. We walked past Danny Dyer (of all people, he’d just been doing a photo shoot we think at the penguin beach, probably...

Re: Chessington 1990

With reference to Benson, I too have thought it was him since I dug out my old guide book a few years back. I checked his website and it was him. He sites his season at Cheasington as the time when things really took off for him and he realised that entertaining children would be his full time vocat...
