There sure is. I can't remember exactly the price of the cup (although off the top of my head it's about £2 cheaper than standard), then refills are £4 (£6 without MAP) per visit.

Thanks Chris! :)

Re: Nemesis - General Discussion

I find quite the opposite really. I had the smoothest ride I’ve ever had on nemesis yesterday, even in the cold wind and rain. Don’t forget, roughness also has a lot to do with how you sit on a coaster, not just where you sit. I find that if you relax and aren’t tense, the ride will be more enjoyable.

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

Wayne Burton confirmed on Facebook that it’s awaiting a part from HUSS and the park themselves confirmed that they hope to have it sorted and reopened by June.

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

Here in Leeds, the Easter holidays finished today and kids were back. They’re having a long weekend over Easter instead.

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion

I love The Smiler’s soundtrack and I also noticed the quieter Lift 1 SFX earlier this week. I would love the whole ride area to return to 2013 levels of volume and to have the reference to correction return but I feel it’s unlikely. However, it’s nice to see all the effects working again, the mist s...

Re: Alton Towers Resort Merchandise

It’s my first season as a MAP holder and I was never one for pin badges, but I found myself purchasing the generic Alton Towers 2019 badge and The Smiler (with it being my favourite ride) and I feel that’s enough for my lanyard. I couldn’t be one of those people who have a full lanyard of them as th...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

Yet more disappointment. There’s nothing else really to say, just more and more reasons for me to doubt buying a MAP this year.

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019

I get the feeling management now consider people as walking wallets, rather than guests. I’ve felt like this for many years now. It’s very obvious that guest satisfaction is a very low priority. How can it be justified that the Alton Towers Premium Season Pass include free entry to the Dungeon yet ...

Re: Oblivion - General Discussion

One thing I’ve never understood is the re-Ride policy at AT. TP allow it so it would be good to see consistency across the Merlin parks with a definitive yes or no. Re-rides on a quiet day for Oblivion would improve the ride experince drastically, not that it’s a bad ride, just as others have said, ...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

I’ve noticed that the member of staff on batching always seems to be rude. Whether in character or not, there’s no need for it. To be honest, I don’t see the point if batching anyway, many parks around the world manage without it just fine. It’s just a waste of money to have a staff member there.

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019?

I outright refuse to pay anything extra to experience this if they go down the route of an upcharge attraction. The park is already terrible value for money. When will they learn that actor led attractions arent sustainable? Give it one season and I guarantee they’ll have removed the actors due to c...

Re: Project 2020

A bit of totally random speculation here as this could be a genuine teaser, or simply Thorpe messing with us. However, I was looking at the description for Terror at Amity High and noticed a familiar name in the description: NEW for 2018, It’s Big Bob’s Homecoming Bash , and the teens of Amity Cove...

Re: Project 2020

They only started deconstruction of The Flume during winter 2016 so it could still be on Logger’s site. If anything, I’d have expected to see planning permission by now. With Merlin saying a while back that they were cutting investment into the Resort Theme Parks, it makes me doubt wether we’ll even...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

What is good to see is how true the finished product stayed to the concept. When you look at the likes of The Smiler and Air and see what could have been, this really is great.

Re: Inside Alton Towers - General Discussion

If I’m honest, I was really disappointed with this documentary. I was expecting something similar to The Magic Factory but it felt nothing like it. It could have been so much more, it could have shown the day to day operation of the rides, especially The Smiler, to show the GP what goes into operati...
