Re: Ride pin badges

What pin badges are available at Alton Towers this year? Thorpe Park had some nice ones (IMO) but cant find any photos of what AT have like limited edition ones etc. Are there any ones from 2015 left or have they all changed?

Re: Towers Loving Care

Good to see they are brining some parts of the park back to its former glory! However, two things. 1) Firstly, brilliant job so far on Nemesis! However, whats happening with the blood rivers? They are a wonderful bit of theming and though the waterfalls in general are good, nothing quite like roarin...

Apocalypse at Drayton Manor originial Soundtrack

Hi all I live literally 30 minute drive from Drayton Manor Park and its one of my favourite parks with two of my favourite rides. Apocalyspe is one of those and I got to ride it when it first opened (on sit down, not big enough for stand up at that time) with it being my first drop tower. Back then ...

Re: The Future of RITA..

I think Rita is quite good to be honest. Its not my favorite ride there, but none the less the launch is good and its turns and hills are good fun. I prefer 13, feel you get more of a ride with that.

Ripsaw a bit tame these days?

Hi all Im going Alton Towers next Thursday (Woo hoo) and was wondering if Ripsaw gets you wet at all? Been the past three years and the first time was brilliant! Got soaked right through (had been on it couple of times before that and it was the same). However, the other two times the water came wit...

Oblivion!

I just want to walk through the tunnel and in future when ive been say that I have. If I did do it, I would love it if they put the mist affect on while I was down there, as well as it without the mist :) plus wanna look straight up the drop.

Re: How do you feel about re-riding rides?

For me it depends on where you sit, using Oblivion as an example you can have loads of different experiences with that ride. Back seat - intense but for me not as intense as the front row far left or right (that wall is bloody close!) At the front you literally have the breath knocked out of you its...

Re: Submission to be removed

Is submission being totally removed from Alton Towers or moved to a new area of the park? If being totally removed where is it going to or no idea atm?

Re: Nemesis Inferno

I hope they dont remove it! Yes I admit I prefer Nemesis, but you cannot compare them, both are pretty much totally different rides (apart from name and type). I like the story that goes with it as well, though not very well known :)

Re: Alton Towers: The Lost Back Stories

You all read the book/ seen the film Christine by Stephen King? Well how I see it is is that Rita started off as a standard race car, on a race track which was built near the hidden tomb and that when the dark forest took over it possessed Rita. Now its a demon possessed car, and the riders must esc...

Re: Roper update

Well I read an article somewhere that the judge strongly advised them to think about continuing with the prosecutions. It was costing them a fortune (will try and find it) and for what they were paying there was little progress. They said it would not deter them but who knows, be nice if they came o...
