Re: Thorpe Park Next Coaster

personally Thorpe Park are running out of of space! Collossus should be removed as its too bumpy and huge space for a hyper coaster, but the hyper coaster has to be Thorpe Park's best ride there should be a worlds first element to it and splashdown element like Shambhala anyone agree?

Re: Tree Top Height Restriction

Agree with all those in favour of the rule. It's formed AT's unique style. At the end of the day, it's a site with rich history which has managed to be preserved as best as possible whilst providing a fantastic day out! Put it this way, the first time I entered through those gates to Towers Street ...

Re: Tree Top Height Restriction

This is due to conservation. However if Alton Towers wish to build a huge drop they simply dig down. Just like Oblivion, sheikra and griffon are just 200ft rides with a massive drops and loops. But without the height restrictions Oblivion proboblay wouldnt be the same compared to other dive coaster...

Re: Alton Towers vs Thorpe Park ( for Roller coasters )

Nemesis Vs Inferno: Going to get shot for this, but i actually really rate inferno and can easily say i prefer it to Nemesis. Its just so much smoother and has a nice selection of G-forces, however whenever I've ridden Nemesis I've found it painfully rough and always come off with a cracking headac...

SAW and Oblvion both have vertcial drops

Correction.  Saw's drop is BEYOND verticle, and Stealth technically has a 'verticle drop'.

Honestly cmon i know that but its similar

It was a tough decision between Nemesis and The Smiler, but I went for The Smiler because of The Marmaliser.

Re: Alton Towers vs Thorpe Park ( for Roller coasters )

Honestly, I would compare The Smiler more to Saw, as it's a eurofighter with extra elements that help add to the fear factor.  (Marmaliser/saw blades) and both seem to stop for on-ride video and aim to manipulate (torture/marmalise) the rider. yes but colossus and the smiler both at one point ...

I think RITA is very thrilling but It was rushed and could of been like Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens Tampa

Alton Towers vs Thorpe Park ( for Roller coasters )

I live near TP and I have been there many times. I went to AT on fireworks nights and as a theme park AT is much better. But every year Thorpe Park is getting better and better. The latest rides Swarm and SAW are well themed, which park has the more thrilling roller coasters AT or TP Nemesis vs Infe...

Has anyone seen any queue line videos or something in the queue yet? If you mean videos OF the queue: Nah as far as I know the inside queue line is still a secret If you mean videos IN the queue: I saw the queue line tv screens being tested yesterday. Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Has anyone seen a train go round since the 22nd May? I think you see that the builders have finished with just little bits and bobs to do now. Today it can be all out testing with maybe dueling as if they can't get that sorted I can see very long queues and angry guests. They've been doing night te...

Re: Will chessington ever invest in a new coaster?

I could see a ride like 13 there or an accelerator. But nothing amazing, CWOA is a family theme park, it doesn't target thrill seekers

Re: Thorpe Park 2015 Coaster

No reason thorpe park will delay there coaster. I am betting on intamin multi launch like cheetah hunt at busch gardens tampa. Lots of air time Hills and an inversion I don't agree, they already have Stealth which is IMO the most thrilling ride there. Apart from the Big One at Blackpool there are n...

Re: what type of major flat would you like to see next?

They should take down one of the flat rides in the X sector and build a drop tower that drops underground. Then launches you back up again.
