Would love to go to this, but apparently they have run out of tickets or something?

Reserve N Ride

I Couldn't find this so I thought i'd post my views... ( sorry if its hidden somewhere in the forum :nervious: ) Went to Thorpe Park a couple of weeks ago to discover the new queuing system 'Reserve N Ride' At first I was like 'aye??' so some Thorpe dude explained it all and awkwardly tried to scan ...

Re: New for 2015 - I'm a Celebrity! Maze

I really don't know what to say about this 'attraction' Not really what I expected, Had a naff ending?! (through some inflated wall things??) felt very rushed.. probably due to the queue which was about 45 mins. I just cannot see it lasting, you've done it once so why bother again? Although as other...

Re: Fright Nights

This, THIS is my worst nightmare!!

Fantastic ideas and love the concept of the carnival and the mirror maze, but If I went inside, I would die.

Also, very very glad that the lionsgate mazes are back, as much as I hated them, I kinda liked them? ah, I know what I mean

Re: The Smiler Incident 02/06/15

I'm pretty sure the last thing they are thinking of right now is how to re theme the ride.

They will be too busy investigating what went wrong before even considering if the ride is safe enough to open, let alone a re theme.

Re: TowersTimes Member Awards 2013!

Woah, three awards!

I cant believe it! Thank you everyone who voted .

And well done to everyone who won an award.

But like others have said you dont need an award to compliment what amazing members you all are!

Keep up the good work guys, and here's to a fantastic 2013 and an even better 2014!

Re: Thorpe Park VIP experience

I'd happily pay £50 for someone to enjoy the hill climb and backstage tour.

But the rest.. What an absolute rip off! You'd have to be mad to pay such a ridiculous price

Good ol' Merlin.

Re: World's tallest coaster to be built in Florida!

I'm on the fence with this coaster. It just doesn't look all that amazing; I mean if you like heights then this is the one for you! Also the thought of lap bars really puts me off. I could be wrong, maybe it offers all the thrills one expects from a coaster?! I must also add it doesn't look as photo...

Re: The Future of Nemesis Sub-Terra

As much as I am not a fan of this ride i think the backstory to it is quite clever and it really compliments the original Nemesis ride. The thing that really bothers me with it is that there is a lot going on; you have people shouting at you to go here there and everywhere. Then youre in some crazy ...

Re: Chessington's "Single Rider" policy

Has Chessington ever had single rider queues? I am aware Thorpe did and for whatever reason they figured out it didn't work; fair play to them for trying. The least Chessington could do is see if it can work. Even if it is only for vampire or DF as I can imagine these are the main two rides that wou...

Re: 2013 End Of Season Reviews

What a fantastic season 2013 has been! I first joined the site back in July; and boy am I glad I did! After being a lurker in the shadows for a while I thought it was time I started getting involved, unfortunately I didn't attend the Summer Sizzler as it was a bit short notice having only signed up ...

Re: Fun City Brean

Lovely little park!! Went there about a year ago and loved it, although the weather was against us and it never stopped raining! I'm slightly gutted about speedwave now being at BLP as it used to be in Hastings which is a lot closer to me, However I am sure its a great addition to an already great p...

Re: Other Interests

I find psychology really interesting. I love reading body language and gestures, you can really determine someones personally just by observing their body language. How the brain works is an interesting thing and how certain parts of your brain 'controls' different things. People often do things wit...

Sometimes it's nice to just sit and enjoy the ride.

If your're not concentrating on shooting you can really notice the finer details and theming.

Re: Is this the end of Slammer?

There is always a cherry picker near by... I could be wrong but i believe it was because on the rare occasion the ride was open they had to use it to manually lower the ride. I believe Slammer is going to the grave very soon, after a whole season closed, surely its just a nuisance now for Thorpe? I ...
