Re: Thorpe Park - New Indoor Attraction 2016

No you are right- usually there is a three year scheme Really? All this hype and it could be to do with the hotel!?!?! No, this 'big development' was originally intended to appear this year, but due to the developments with Thorpe Shark etc. It has been pushed back a year. It was originally rumoure...

Re: SW8

I'm not sure weather SW8 will be a big one or not. How long does it take a theme park to recover from a 18 million pound investment. And how long does it take for them to make enough to build another multimillion pound coaster...

Re: Oblivion's future

Yeah, but isn't that where an emergency 'slip' road is? It was next to submission. I remember when I went for Scarefest in 2011 they had to rush someone out in an ambulance because they had a heart attack or something like that.

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Received that booklet through the post too. This information really should of been provided by them in our welcome pack to begin with, but its nice they are still getting the feedback and clarifying things. I haven't been to any merlin attraction in over a month but if that is true about the scarem...

Re: Funny Things You've Overheard at Parks

Idk. But. I was in Cyprus and I was at a water park and there is a ride called 'Drop to Atlantis' these 2 people said 'look there is no line' so they ran up the steps a went to the top. The funny thing is, is that I don't think they realised you needed a dingy. And that the queue for the dingy's wh...

Re: Best themed Coaster Thorpe VS Alton...

I also vote for swarm. I went to Thorpe in 2011 summer and there were people running around (actors) saying it's the end of the world ect. Then there were police and stuff arresting the, and all stuff like that. I thought it was a real person messing around! Then when I went in 2012 I was blown away...

Re: Proposed Paramount Park in Kent

You never know... Paramount is a world wide fils company. Although to me, from looking at the map. It doesn't look too great to me.

Re: SW8

I could see a real problem with this forum post. People could get really hyped up about a new coaster then... It turns out to be a small ride instead.

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

That's interesting. I didn't know you could get VIP for the dungeons, but not only 5 star treatment, but you were actually involved with the tour? That is awesome!

Re: Alton Towers: What Ever Happened to...?

Last time we went to Chessington what looked suspiciously like the carriage from gloomy wood was tucked away in the queue line for Vampire. They may have had there own but you could see the cut out in the back for you to pose for pictures like the one in gloomy wood and this one was in no place for...

Re: 2014 Scarefest

I think a clown scarezone is a great idea! Although I have to admit Im not too sure about a zombie maze. I think zombies work well in larger open spaces with props, as oppose to small cramped corridors and rooms. Hopefully the new attraction will be a N:ST style maze (or an extension of N:ST), or s...

Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

I know right. Of my mum wants a seat at night (especially scarefest) I have to go reserved the seat 2 hours before the event starts that night. Meaning I get back from the park, do a quick change and go sit in a seat with my iPad, then wait whilst my mum has a shower, does her makeup and whatever el...

Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

by Starlight expresser » Sun Aug 24, 2014 5:26 pm Hey guys, just wondered I'm going to alton towers for scarefest in October and am staying 3 nights in the alton towers hotel. I'm going with my partner so have paid for 2 people, is there a problem if 2 others join our room without actually booking ...

Re: Thorpe Park - Next Coaster

I feel a lot of park guests are kind of moving away from woodies, don't get me wrong. I love them, but some people may deem them unsafe. Especially with an inversion in it.

No, I mean like nemesis trains, but spinny, now do you get what I mean? Not one that has an inversion.

Re: Proposed Paramount Park in Kent

XD I am willing to bet the there will be a mountain at the back of the park with the stars around the peak with the writing 'Paramout' underneath.

Re: Proposed Paramount Park in Kent

:( why is there always so many theme parks to the South of the UK. When is it Wales' turn to get a good theme park. The best we have is Oakwood >:(

Anyways. Is this 'Paramout Park' the Paramout that creates films? Because that is the fist thing that springs to mind when I hear Paramount

Re: SW8

It was to do with how much it could cost? :3

So basicly. There are no plans that we know of/ are official and the talk is that the next coaster we are expecting is 2016?
