Re: Winter at Thorpe Park 2018-19

It is a very nice series and one which needs more discussion in my opinion. I love anything like this and it really interests me! Although Thorpe has had slack for some of their recent decisions, and not much has been announced this year, I am wondering more and more if we will see improvements thro...

Re: The Future of Spinball Whizzer (Cbeebies Land Expansion?)

Although I can't see it being Spinball, I wouldn't rule out another kiddie coaster being added instead :)

If the latest image was connected with the decisions being made by Thorpe for their next coaster, which I doubt, I wouldn't be surprised if they have revealed the track layout! :lol

Re: Galactica - General Discussion

Rename it too, or keep the Galactica branding?

Personally, as much as I loved Air, I do like the area more as Galactica! The only thing I miss is the Air shop, but we have RCR to compensate!

Re: The Future of Spinball Whizzer (Cbeebies Land Expansion?)

If it isn't sold, I would like to see it rethemed to CBeebies Land, so it dosen't have to leave and it means CBeebies could take over Adventure Land. Not sure what character would get there own coaster but you never know... I’m not sure that would happen. Spinball is a bit too thrilling for the gen...

Re: Project 2020

It wouldn't surprise me if they reopened Zombie Hunt with either Fortnite characters or CoD.

Re: Loggers Leap - Officially Retired

Was a great log flume and it certainly will be missed - but now's an opportunity for the next new coaster to go there and use the woodland to its advantage. As for reasons why it originally closed - any truth to the rumour of it not passing its fire safety inspection way back at the end of 2015 (th...

Re: Pleasurewood Hills

It is because they got such a back lash for removing the ride. At the time, it was beyond repair and I must agree, it was getting old.

It was a nice little ride to be honest!

Re: The Flume

First thing... I love it!
But... I do feel that part of the originally has been lost as the interior has been altered, with a few possible holes drilled into the body to accommodate the motors etc.

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

Ha. That is a classic! To be honest, they are only saying what we are all thinking! Whilst I love visiting, it is a shame that there is nothing new to shout about this year. I was really hoping that we would have a new coaster to watch being constucted too. This would have created some hype for the ...

I can't see it happening to be honest, although Alton Towers did have a Lego store a few years back in Mutiny Bay.

Re: The Future of Spinball Whizzer (Cbeebies Land Expansion?)

I have also considered if Driving School could be relocated to CBeebies Land or another part of the park, but it should most definitely not feature a LegoLand theme. I think Merlin would seriously be pushing it if that was the case. P.s. I've added to the name of this thread cover the possibility of...

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion

I hold a lot of love for The Smiler (even though I am a Wicker Man fan). My biggest issue is how clean it is, as I have mentioned before, but I actually find it fascinating to watch. Dare I say it, I love the theme music too! It is a great ride! :)

Re: Chessington - General Discussion

With Room on the Broom, I think we are on to a safe IP. We can see what they have done with Gruffalo and Shrek, so it will hopefully it will be a quality experience.
We should know more on the preview day, so watch this space :)

Re: The Future of Sonic Spinball

Now that Wicker Man is here, could it be earmarked to be removed around 2022? This would then allow CBeebies to be expanded for its tenth anniversary.
