Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Things are looking better for the VIP pass so far this year. There is much more of an effort as well by the main parks, Alton towers certainly upped their game yesterday and showed us they do listen :lol

That's impressive even with Bubbleworks & The Vampire closed. Planning on going on the Sunday for a couple of hours.

Re: Shrek's Far Far Away Adventure

It's on the pass website Terms & Conditions. Purely designed so they can maximise full paying guests over summer period. http://www.merlinannualpass.co.uk/terms.aspx 10.4 A Premium Merlin Annual Pass can only be used to obtain access to Shrek’s Adventure from the 1 September 2015, other than in ...

Re: Shrek's Far Far Away Adventure

So does anyone know the planned opening date as someone mentioned September, and a news report said July in time for summer... just that i'm planning to visit London end July / beginning of august anyway so am hoping; what's this about annual pass holders not being allowed in, or does it not matter...

Re: Express parking for the fireworks.

Ah ok I thought that web form was a one time use for when you arrive at your home attraction to pick up your passes. I'll book it for the Saturday now then. Thanks for the heads up, I remember spending an hour and 20 minutes getting off car parks last year on the saturday. We're supposed to use the...

Re: Express parking for the fireworks.

Us VIP pass holders had to book in advance as well to use our perk of free Express Parking, they then call to confirm if it's possible or not. You mean you had to ring to book a parking space for this weekend? I may go to towers sometime this weekend, whichever day the weather is better. Was never ...

Re: Express parking for the fireworks.

Express parking gets limited for Fireworks so the park can empty quicker and easier, as well as emergency access if it's needed.

Re: X:\ No Way Out

I quite like the new rave concept. My only criticism would be that they turned the music down on Sunday when I went, so I think that a little more volume would have been good (the previous time it was at the point where one could hear it outside of the building) and there seemed to be less lights. ...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Can you use a Annual Pass on the day at the ticket office to get the 50% off for family and friends? Also can you use the discount on the combo attractions tickets on the day? As already said, has to be by phone day before. Discount on other tickets as far as I'm aware isn't possible unless your a ...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

They changed it the other week which is a shame for you.

Each celebration ticket is now park entry and unlimited fastrack (which is what it should have been from day 1)

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

For me it's only Alton that's not putting any effort in to the VIP pass, we all saw how great it was when the pass came out and then suddenly no, that type of experience is only for people who pay to be a VIP on the day. All other attractions that I've been to have been fantastic and seemingly care ...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Saw that email, personally I think it's very poor value considering Thorpe Park include Fastrack entry to all mazes for us VIP's, albeit only one visit per mazes per day but it's excellent service and you don't need to use a Golden ticket up. Still appears Alton don't really have much time for us VI...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

There was a new Golden Ticket added today but practically already gone.

VIP fireworks at Legoland Windsor, usual of VIP seating, refreshments and exclusive unique lanyard with a goodie bag of treats.

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Anyone heard anything more about the golden ticket experience with the vip pass? Kinda sad not to see a single thing new added since launch. Not yet unfortunately. There was hope that they might add the Alton Towers Fireworks but I think it's too late now. On topic of the VIP fireworks, can't see t...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Can you go on the London Eye River Cruise with a Annual Pass? The River Cruise is only available for VIP pass holders, all others have to buy a ticket. I have a Premium Annual Pass, does that count? Unfortunately no, only the VIP pass. I think you may get a discount if you call the friends and fami...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Received that booklet through the post too. This information really should of been provided by them in our welcome pack to begin with, but its nice they are still getting the feedback and clarifying things. I haven't been to any merlin attraction in over a month but if that is true about the scarem...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

New VIP booklets arrived in post.

Good to see them setting out the process for each ride / park.

Shame about our unlimited fastrack only being valid for one maze per visit for Halloween.

Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

Wow... TPs staff need to get of their backsides and enforce the "No queue-jumping" rule. Went to Thorpe Park yesterday, never seen so much queue jumping on The Swarm before, kids were saying they were going backwards so people would move out the way then as soon as they got to the bottom ...
