Re: Ratatouille at Disneyland Resort Paris

Everyone is saying how terrible dlp is but I would have to disagree! It is loads better than alton towers! If alton towers got a ride as good as ratatouille everyone would be singing its praises rather than saying its a rubbish ride. rant over! I don't really agree, Disney has built up a certain re...

Shambhala - the new love of my life

Oh Shambhala, where have you been all my life? Seriously this rollercoaster is amazing. There is nothing more to say than that. However this would be an awful review if that was all I had to say. So I think it’s best if I take you through my 1st ride on this glorious coaster. I arrived at PortAventu...

Re: Ratatouille at Disneyland Resort Paris

There is some good news however. "Tom Wolber, senior vice president of Walt Disney World Resort and Transportation Operations, has been named president of Euro Disney S.A.S., the management company of Disneyland Paris." "Wolber has also overseen a number of complex expansion projects,...

Re: Funny Things You've Overheard at Parks

I was queuing for Depth Charge in Thorpe park and over heard two girls behind me (they were talking very loudly so I didn't really eavesdrop): Sheila 1: Oh wow (there was a plane flying overhead) Sheila 2: What? Sheila 1: That's like amazing theming for Swarm (points at plane) Sheila 2: What? Sheila...

PortAventura Polynesian show - what happened?

Hey all, Just a quick question, I did a search and couldn't find an answer so I thought I'd ask. PortAventura fans out there do you know what happened to the live band that was part of the Polynesian show "Aloha Tahiti" & "Noche de fuego en tahiti". I am a massive fan of both...

Re: Seasonal scare mazes?

There is also a scare maze in Staffordshire which utilizes a Maize Maze... see what they did there. I've been to this one and its certainly entertaining! A couple of good scares & set pieces and there is a tractor trailer ride included with admission. However I do no recommend the Dudley Canal H...

When did the Disneyland land park last get a new attraction as since I last went in 2007 it sounds like the studios have got all the new rides and attractions.

True, but that park really really needs it.

Re: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley

Not sure of the reason, but it has been confirmed by Universal that Diagonal Alley will not open during their Halloween event Halloween Horror Nights, which is from Septermber 19th to November 1. The reason is unknown, but I guess because the event already gets the park busy, they don't want guests...

Re: Ratatouille at Disneyland Resort Paris

I really wish that DLP would buck up their offering. I went 2013 after a 5 year hiatus, and it was amazing. But there's nothing new or interesting to make me go this year or even next year. I'm not paying to go just to go on Ratatouille because I agree with the views on here. Its disappointing, and ...

Hotel PortAventura Hotel Review

Wow this post is well overdue, I started writing it then got busy. Still here it is posted and hopefully will give some personal insights to Hotel PortAventura. My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Port Aventura on July 1st 2014 for 7 nights on a half board basis. Previously in 2011 we’ve stayed in Ho...

Re: Oblivion's future

They wont modify the track layout or seating arrangement. Oblivion is a classic ride. Yes it may be a one trick pony but it does its one trick very very well. It remains to this day the only coaster at Alton to make me slightly anxious before riding it. I can't put my finger on what it is but it gi...
