I am always really biased towards films that have theme parks in, so I'll probably like it haha. It's interesting enough and has a nice aesthetics but I'm not sold on the plot or some of the characters.
I'll also be developing my writing skills over the closed season! I love creative writing so much. I'll also be creating a ride as part of a school project which I'm excited for.
I slightly hope it isn't, but I'm pretty sure Justin's right. It would suck to watch another original concept ride being replaced with an IP, but I guess it can't be helped. I am very glad that they are revamping Hocus Pocus. It was my fav as a child but those effects are long outdated. The preshow ...
This ride is such a weird paradox. Last year, we had to write an essay about a new experience so I wrote about riding the Ghost Train and what I learnt. I went into writing it thinking, this is probably going to just be a roast, but the more I thought and wrote about it, the more positive the essay ...
Could A Witch be referring to one of their halloween characters? Don't they normally have a witched themed maze (I wouldn't know for certain cause I've never attended one)
That's an interesting comparison between the mazes. I wouldn't think that Saw Alive would be their scariest maze, but I guess it's had the most experience so maybe. Terror at Amity High makes sense along with Big Top being rather low in comparison. I'm very excited to see Walking Dead: Do or Die. I ...
I'm incredibly curious about what Amity High is going to be exactly... I think it might be something like Scream or other 80s horror films about teenagers and slashers, but that concept is more scaremaze than scarezone. The vending machine thing is just strange... That is particularly weird. It seem...
I agree that Logger’s Leap site would be beyond perfect for a woodie but I can’t see them doing one any time soon. It would work so well into the environment and be amazing, but honestly I wouldn’t want another Merlín woodie anyway, I’d love to see a new style of ride and have a woodie in later year...
I think the ride works as it is and to this day it still surprises riders. If they were to add anything, then perhaps a sound effect, but nothing more! My friend thinks it’s the scariest ride at Alton Towers because I forgot to mention the drop and backwards section to him, haha! It’s a solid ride ...
I still stand by a magical world, similar to Diagon Alley, but without the Harry Potter IP. https://i.imgur.com/EkLNrsZ.png Source: http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Diagon_Alley So much fun could be had with the area, and it would tie in nicely with The Towers! I really love this idea!! I'd love t...
I have a wish for Alton Towers. I wish they'd get some sort of Void style attraction. The Void is a VR attraction where nearly everything you see in the VR, you can feel it. Seeing the success of Void and VR, I think doing something in this vein and completely removing the VR from Galactica would be...
The VR addition in Galactica always felt like an afterthought... and that's rather sad because there is definitely potential there for them to become something so much more. I know it was probably at first only marketing campaign for Alton Towers to start getting some good press, but with the way VR...
Would be great if they had put a full wall projection screen in front of the carriage with a wraith that turns to you and screams something along the lines of "GET OUT" before you are blasted with cold air and flung backwards out of the crypt. May sound abit cheesy :o) Such a great idea! ...
I don't really listen to the podcasts, but I know Defunctland has a lot of podcast episodes. They even have one about Alton Towers! Defunctland as a youtube series was brilliant so I'd imagine so would be their podcasts.
If people are looking for concept art of Wicker Man, might I suggest the Holovis video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqiIN2Z1fE4&t=14s Not sure if it's been posted yet but that's where I get Wicker Man concept art when I want it.
