Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train - New for 2016

I would point out that some of the scribblings and drawings were probably made for the promo shots, and so might not bare much resemblance to the ride. The carriage one for example is a different one to one used for the ride, the drawing one being to a European design.

Re: Galactica - 2016 Air Re-theme

It may also be they Thorpe don't want to back the wrong horse, and hedging their bets. One company may not last in the VR business, so makes sense not to all their eggs in one basket.

Re: Possible Dark Ride development?

One of the things John Wardley has said in interviews was that getting something to work once for film, like he did on various bond movies, was incredibly easy compared to something that had to happen every 5 seconds for 200 odd days a year. Creating a quickly resettable mechanism that was also incr...

Re: Lionsgate IP Mega Lands 2019 and Beyond

Hunger Games is the only one I can see being both popular enough and having the scope for a theme park attraction.

Re: The Smiler Incident 02/06/15

With all the speculation of the other ride closure for the next season, I also wouldn't be surprise to see the Smiler as part of the SBNO line up. If we've got no Smiler, no Hex, no N:ST and no Ripsaw I'll jump up and down in a furious rage! I would have thought the opposite. If the closure list is...

Re: London Paramount - General Discussion

I should have edited my post after doing a bit more research as a few other articles mentioned the stage show in London. Shame as they could have made good attractions! :( Might still happen. Someone was saying over on Thorpe Park Mania that they had been told during a backstage tour thing that Lio...

Re: London Paramount - General Discussion

Whilst browsing American theme park news I came across this article on Hollywood Reporter . The interesting bit is the following: Lionsgate has pacted for attractions based on The Hunger Games, Divergent, Now You See Me and Step Up in New York, London, Atlanta, Dubai and China, while Paramount has ...

Re: Rides & Attractions

I would love to see a really awesome rapids ride. The UK lacks a really awesome water ride. I of course would love some world class coasters, but i really hope PP go for a big range of rides and attractions. I also hope they will hold an incredible Halloween event too with some brilliant horror att...

Re: The Entertainment Resort

Will the parking for this be similar to Universal Florida? How do you mean "similar"? My guess is parking would be small and expensive, to try to coax people to use the various public transport links they are putting in (boats from London, trains from St Pancreas etc) A multi-story car pa...

Re: Planet Coaster

Far more excited for Planet Coaster than RCTW. We have seen very little from PC, but they definitely have the right attitude, style and work ethic.
