Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

Hi, does anyone know if/how you can book express parking for Scarefest? Had a look on the AT website but all the Scarefest dates are greyed out.

Re: The 'How busy will it be?' Topic

I'm thinking of making a solo trip to AT Thurs/Fri this week now the kids are back. Will the park be quiet or will next week be a better choice?

Btw I will be driving down from Stockport on my own  so have 4 spaces in the car if anyone needs a lift from Stockport, Macclesfield or Stoke train station.

Re: Drayton Manor

My school always ran a school trip to AT near the end of the summer term and we were always told where the teachers would be hanging around and to follow the rules of the park. We generally went around in groups of 4-6 without a teacher escorting us, if you think of the size of most theme parks and ...

Re: TT ScareMazing North 2016 - Reviews & Feedback

What a brilliant event for my first TT meet! Everyone made me feel really welcome and I had a great time. I'm so glad I allowed myself to be talked into the extreme mazes as they were amazing and I thought they really brought TOTT up to the level of the other two. I cant wait for the 2017 season and...

Re: Ride you have queued up for the longest is?

3 1/2 hours for TOTT at Scarefest quite a few years ago (maybe 2008) when it used to be free and the other mazes were in the car park.

Re: Rollercoaster Restaurant - 2016

I went to the Roller Coaster Restaurant yesterday and was very pleased. It was great watching the orders flying around above our heads and I especially loved the loop. The food was nice, I had the steak with peppercorn sauce which was very tasty and my steak was cooked exactly as I ordered. The port...

Daughters First Trip to Alton Towers

Today I am one very proud mum as yesterday I spent a glorious Bank Holiday Monday at Alton Towers with my 2 year old daughter Sofia. She is definitely taking after her mum as she wanted to go on every ride she saw and after a couple of hours in the safety of Cbeebies Land we ventured out into the ma...

Re: Disneyland Paris- Worth going?

I was at DLP at Easter and although a few of my fav rides were closed we still loved it. Didnt really notice any signs of it looking run down. We stayed at the Newport Bay and it was lovely, in the past we have stayed at the Cheyenne which has a wild west theme and is a great family hotel while stil...

Re: The 'How busy will it be?' Topic

Desperate to take my 2 year old to towers after a very successful trip to Thomas Land the other week. What are the cBeebies queue times like at the moment? Is a weekday better than weekend during the summer holidays?
