SPRING 1980 Adventure Kingdom's attendance has been increasing a lot, and today is no exception. https://i.imgur.com/4VgSJOd.png New for this year is phase 2 of the Asia area. Seemed very short though, wonder if they could do multiple laps.

In terms of lift to brake run, the ride duration is longer than Spinball.

Re: Cnut Park- Planet coaster project

AUTUMN 1979 As I can get in now with my Coasters Entertainment pass, I thought I'd pay a visit to Tempus Manor! The park opened last year and gets its name form the manor house to the right of the park.  As soon as we got there, we immediately headed to the park's Zierer Tivoli, Knight's Journey: h...

Re: Cnut Park- Planet coaster project

SUMMER 1979 Today's update isn't from a park, I'll be analysing announcements made from Coasters Entertainment about the 1980 season. Firstly, they've built a third park, Whitepool Amusement Park, and purchased Tempus Manor in Praterium. So, I'll be analysing additions to 4 parks, from smallest inv...

CLARENCE PIER A few weeks ago I visited Clarence Pier in Southsea, Hampshire. The park is one of those 'small pier parks' on the south coast. As soon as you enter you are greeted with a large Ferris wheel. Our ticket type meant we weren't able to go on this, however:   https://i.imgur.com/hKDp8nH.j...

Re: Paultons Park

I am confused about one thing. What age is Tornado Springs supposed to be aiming for? If it’s aiming to attract the older generation than I feel that the parks going to have a hard time doing this as for the past few years it’s primarily been aimed at the younger generation. I don’t feel myself abl...

Re: Planet Coaster

You beat me to it!
I think the reason theyre doing it is because they kinda want to add a zoo expansion pack to Planet Coaster, but a lot of people are making animals on the Themakers Toolkit, so it would be irellavant. It's also using the same style as PlanCo, but PlanZoo has some upgrades

Autumn 1978 After the success of Adventure Kingdom's Halloween event, Notissehc Park has got one! The fact that the park's open til 7:30 means that you can get some pretty good night shots: https://i.imgur.com/cBcRMFI.png King Gohster's Pumpkin Trail is making an appearance! https://i.imgur.com...

Re: Paultons Park

I visited the park on Thursday. Firstly, there are speakers around the construction fence playing the radio as well. Reminds me of WWTP radio at Thorpe park. Secondly, it was ridiculously busy, with queues reaching almost an hour. Which may not sound like much, but for Paultons, it's ridiculous. Thi...

Re: Merlin General Discussion

Merlin divides their attractions into three groups: Resort theme parks, Legoland parks and Midway Attractions. Out of them, Warwick castle is clearly not a Legoland Park, and it's too big to be a Midway Attraction, so even though it doesn't fit entirely, they've put Warwick in Resort theme parks.

Re: Cnut Park- Planet coaster project

Autumn 1977 Halloween is here and with it Adventure Kingdom is open late along with a spooky trail! Since the park is open late they've added some lampposts. The main mascot of their Halloween event is King Ghoster, the brother of the park's main mascot, King Coaster: https://i.imgur.com/t6ozcXM.pn...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

What do you mean “Thorpe have had 3 off years”?  I mean a year with little to no investment. 2017 saw a refurbishment and a few new kiddie rides, 2018 saw a retheme of a coaster and 2019 has the IP from I'm a celeb removed and some new grass. This is the first “off” season Thorpe have had in a long...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

There's been a mixed reaction the the Thorpe park announcements. Here's my opinion on it: They're  having several off-years. In my opinion, an 'Off-year' is a year where a park doesn't do much. Thorpe park has had 3 consecutive Off-years now and, while off-years are normally ok, Thorpe park has had ...

Summer 1977 So, there have been several changes since summer! Firstly, here's a picture of the back of Brauerei: https://i.imgur.com/ppCEQyu.png Also, the stalls have been added (mostly): https://i.imgur.com/QBZBFD1.png The park have also added a picnic area around the back: https://i.imgur.com/ahky...
