I truly believe that Nemesis is actually one of, if not the best B&M inverter ever! You haven't ridden Batman then. When I went to Six Flags I was going to ignore Batman because I thought it looked a lot like Nemesis Inferno but then I thought I might as well. It's amazing the drop is great it ...

-I don't think there is a single ride in the world I wouldn't ride. -The German themeparks don't appeal to me because they have wierd theming, lack major coasters and why go to Germany when you can go somewhere sunny? -I think ridecounts and enthusiast clubs are nerdy. -When I visit a theme park I d...

The reason most places are cheaper than this country is because we have such a strong currency. How can people complain about theme park prices? I easilly spend double the price it would cost to visit a theme park on a night out clubbing. If I go up the pub for a few drinks it would probably cost me...

Instead of comparing the flume to all the American rides which probably cost millions why don't you instead compare it to another Tussauds ride that shows it up: Tidal Wave. No I know this ride isn't actually all that popular on this forum and that Thorpe Park have also pretty much spent the past fe...

Its not as hard as everyone says the hard part is driving once you've passed because then you're on your own. I still passed even though: -I rolled back and almost wheel spun coming out the carpark. -Forgot to indicate twice before moving off. -Went to slow most of the time. -Reacted pretty slowly o...

I think a refurb of this ride would be a complete waste of money. In fact I think they should gut the building and make it into something more interesting. A huge permanent walk through would be good plus it would actually be scary. I think if Alton Towers is going to try and be a world class park t...

I think instead of messing about with the tunnel they should try and get the money together and theme the whole ride how it was meant to be. Give it a proper story and everything. Merlin might actually be up for this looking at what they did to Merry England. They could also stick one or two flat ri...

While it would look amazing if it was themed really well next to Thorpe new ride I don't really see the point in them moving it. If they put its theming back on again then it would look great staying at the Towers. What I'd rather see them do is retheme Samurai and maybe add a smaller flat ride such...

You can't have a themepark without flat rides. They can give the same thrill as a coaster for a tenth of the cost and taking up a tenth of the space. If themed well they don't look fairgroundy and they can look extremely impressive. Look at Samurai when it was at Chessington it was the parks main th...

Smoking should be banned everywhere inside the Alton Towers complex in my view. I feel large corperations have a duty to help combat one of society's greatest problems. But this is a very good start indeed! There's much worse problems such as alcoholism, drink driving, domestic abuse, unemployment,...

No I don't think it does and if it's a Sheikra clone then I already know it wont be very good.

Originally it was planned that air would be based on a fighter jet to blend it into the valley as it would of swooped down to attack nemesis station. When sept 11 2001 happened this was seen contraversal so the track layout was changed. The tunnel would have had water running down the walls that fi...

I am not a big fan of Vekoma's tbh, Infusion and Kumali dont do much for me, I prefer B&M Inverts to Vekoma SLC's. That's like saying "I prefer Rolls Royces to Mondeos" remember a SLC is a lot cheaper than an B&M invert. I quite like Vekoma remember without them Alton Towers would...

I think Alton Towers does need to start mixing family and thrill rides more and spread the family rides around the park. Currently all the thrill rides are just in certain areas which means the family ends up being split up all day. I think it would be great if they put a thrilling ride in this new ...

I think that whole area needs gutting if I'm honest I remember it as being the worst area out of all the Disney parks. Space Mountain was alrite nothing that special which isn't too good for a Disney park. The one in Paris is miles better.

The early buzz is that Vekoma may have made the winning bid, and I’m not sure I like the sound of that. Of course, the new style track Vekoma used on Expedition Everest did give a great smooth ride, so if they use a similar system on this ride things may turn out well. I think Vekoma has sorted its...

6 million ???? god knows how they get that figure, seems a lot of doh for not much show. 2 new rides, all the new infastructure the rides require, theming, queuelines, soundsystems, new pathing, new buildings, labour, marketing...sounds a fair bit of show to me. Plus Tussauds do seem a bit funny wi...

Hopefully Samurai goes it's a pile of **** would love to see the back of it. I'd be very sad to see Slammer go though as it's a brilliant ride and is unique.
