Re: Cariba Creek Waterpark Hours 2011

The opening times are a complete joke, and to be honest the place needs this extended maintaince time, when i went there in July it was shocking. Nothing worked, the outside areas needed a lot of attention. The jacuzzi in the park had one jet working. For the price, its a complete joke. Lets hope the...

Re: Th13teen - Ride discussion [SPOILERS TOPIC]

Thing that really annoys me about Thirteen is the fact that most people on the forums are BLIND to the fact that this coaster has not delivered what the park needed. And that was a thrill ride. The music is shocking in the area, i am sorry, but it is. The queue line theming before the station is sh...

Re: Th13teen - Ride discussion [SPOILERS TOPIC]

All, in all, I am pleased with Thirteen. The drop segment works really well and the theming is superb. Even though the coaster section is not as thrilling as people would of hoped, it still has as some great moments of airtime and picks up some nice speed. I also noticed that on opening day, there ...

Re: Th13teen - Ride discussion [SPOILERS TOPIC]

JW cannot really go:

"We spent 15million and its rubbish".

I want to re-theme dark forest to Intamin Land. All we need is a flat ride by Intamin and we have the perfect area for Intamin. I love the fact you guys are saying its a well themed coaster by Alton. Nemesis?

Re: Th13teen - Ride discussion [SPOILERS TOPIC]

G, completely agree. Its NOT AN ICONIC coaster. NEVER. My god, if Alton becomes known for that ride i will eat my hat. I think the coaster has nothing to offer except the backwards section which is by far the best part of the ride. My fiancée knew little about the ride and even she was disappointed....

Re: Th13teen - Ride discussion [SPOILERS TOPIC]

Sorry hang on, Dan, a well themed ride? The station is good, except the fact the roof looks shocking. Complete rubbish. The queue line except for the Alton Towers Van and hand coming out of the ground there is nothing. The ride itself is not amazing, the drop is a real disappointment, and the best b...

Re: THORPE PARK 2010

Yeah i have heard its a chargeable thing. I think though it will change to having no actors, as it could be just a walk through, i think it really depends on the volume of people that go on it and want to pay. The whole of the park was dead by 3:30, but i think that was because of the lack of rides ...

Re: THORPE PARK 2010

Inferno has not got new music in station it was there last season on and off. It should change on dispatch back to the older "tradional one" however that never happened. I thought Thorpe was good yesterday. Stealth was a shame, it seemed to manage to launch two trains and that was it. I ma...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

For me, the Annual Pass will do, i am not bothered about Thorpe on Fright night, i avoid Thorpe at that time of year. Also, those dates for the Sea life etc are not a problem either, i will most likely be working or avoiding those places as it is too busy. I agree though with Sam! we should all not ...

Re: Quick Questions 2009

Hi, Im taking lots of stuff to AT tomorrow in rucksacks (me & brother's lunch, change of clothes for after water rides, coats etc) and was wondering what'd be the best way of taking it round without having anything stolen...I know there are lockers at Guest services but thats a long trek everyt...

Re: Worst non coaster ride closure this decade...

The worst ride for me was the those chargeable boats they had last season before Mutiny Bay. My god, what a joke they were.

I agree i miss the swans never went on them but did add a touch of class.

Re: Thorpe Park: Future Discussion

X No way out is a shocking ride, complete rubbish. Even with the robots it was not a good ride, it has a shocking queue line, and a poor ride. The breaks and moving back and forwards is poor and the blowing air at people is just annoying. It would have been good to see the black hole in there :( It ...

Re: Europa-Park 2010: New Ride & Resort Development

Looking good Dan, the thing for me about Bluefire it felt unfinished to me, i can imagine in a few seasons it will look amazing. I love the fact that Europa actually put effort into theming.

Re: Thorpe Park: Future Discussion

I don't think Thorpe Park need to bring in any family style coasters, i think they should carry on down the thrill seeker line. Chessington is only what 20 mins up the road, Legoland is again 10-15 mins, why try and go for any of that market. If someone does not want to go on "thrill" ride...

Re: Quick Questions 2009

Hi all

A quick question, a friend has given me two clubcard annual pass vouchers which have his name on it. Can i still use them even though they don't have my name on at AT.

Re: Annual Pass & NEW Waterpark Annual Pass

I thought the Annual Pass was a bargin at £75 pound. Last year i bought an annual pass from Ebay and i paid £100 for two. I am doing the same this year. I think £150 is a tad expensive. £100 to renew is not too bad either. The Cariba Creek annual pass though, i struggle to spend 4 hours in there onc...

It has already had planning permission and they are reclaiming land at the moment to bring it back. So its more than an idea?
