Re: Towers Loving Care

The whole TLC thing, whilst good, doesn't sit well with me. It shouldn't take an incident like what happened on The Smiler to give them the kick to do this. This is just basic maintenance that should be done consistently and constantly. But can we really say this is the case, we'll never know truly...

Re: A Movie Themed Ride

I dont think it will be unoriginal. Just think how long it took them to build that harry potter roller coaster in universal and how good it turned out to. So your saying disney and universal build original r I don't think that Towers would do a movie themed ride, mainly because it's too unoriginal....

Re: Alton Towers - Weather Closures

There seem to be a lot of disappointed people on facebook and twitter at the moment, having paid full price for half a theme park.. Any word on what, if anything, happens with regards to recompense for this? I've got booked tickets for wednesday, and will be gutted if there isn't more open than tod...

Re: A Movie Themed Ride

Ye but just look at the rides that they have in six flags like superman, hulk, the green lantern plus also it would bring alot of atraction to the park. Also they have a harry potter theamed area in universal and that film wasnt even made by them. They are just literally rides that have a name stuc...

A small element of this is still available on Air where you can buy a DVD of your ride and the cameras are still active.

Re: A Movie Themed Ride

As much as it could happen, I feel that IP based rides have no places at Alton Towers. Past major attractions have got by on stunning theming and solid story telling alone, without the need to have sponsorship and someone else's story to sell it (Nemesis, Hex, Oblivion Haunted House.) IP based rides...

Re: Burger Kitchen Inside Photos

i sense pink slime meat from McDonalds  would rather go KFC or pizza hub Neither of which the park now have. I'd much rather have this than a franchise again as the service was awful and the prices extortionate from BK. I do however think this menu is far too limited as an option, only ...

Re: Does AT Need A Serious Dark Ride??????

Hex opened in 2000, long before the likes of Spiderman, Transformers ect and long before the technology of these rides was available. It is, however, an incredible piece of ride making, and measures up and surpasses all of these in my eyes. I've ridden Spiderman and Mummy and neither of these create...

Re: RUGBY V NFL

The Rugby Football League, its Rugby League.

To be fair though, although they are fairly similar, the two games are completely different. So comparing them isn't really fair. Anyway, yes Rugby Union f~t~w!
