Re: Purchasing Old Alton Towers Maps.

Hi, I'm getting rid of all my alton towers memorabilia at the moment. Some of it may be a lot of interest to you!

Take a look here here. Of most interest to you will probably be these Alton Towers Maps and Leaflets from 2000-2005

Cheers

Re: Theme Park Memorabilia - What do you have?

Thought this was the ideal topic to add this post to. I'm having a clear out at the moment and found all of my alton towers memorabilia. See below! I have been collecting this for about 15 years: http://i1218.photobucket.com/albums/dd402/rozzer39/IMG_0291.jpg I want to find a new home for it all, th...

Re: Water Park: What's going on?!

Yes, seems like a total joke that the park is not opened later. To pay so much to stay at the resort, guests should have the chance to all pack their evenings with activities such as the water park without having to rush about to partially get to do things.

Re: Charity Event.. do u think Alton Towers will help?

Sorry to rain on the parade, but I think you'd get a Health and Safety related response! Along the lines of no re-rides - whilst they would encourage you to go on a quiet day, I think they would make you exit the ride and re-join the queue!

Best of luck.

Re: Review: Theme Park Insider Guide to Alton Towers 2009

I think it is a very helpful book, it tells you when to go and prices etc. It really helps not only first timers to AT, but it helps people like me with prices! Does anyone know whether they will make them annually? Thanks for your comments! Depending on the success and sales volumes, this may be a...

Re: Quick Questions 2009

Puppen, the ride closing time is determined by the expected 'busyness' of the park and can change even during the day (I was there in easter where ride closure time was advertised as 5.30, but stretched to 6.00 on the electronic queue boards due to park being packed!) Summer sees the later openings,...

Re: The Family VIP Service

Its an absolute disgrace! Particularly the way things have been jazzed up "a private boat on The Flume, Congo River Rapids and Charlie & The Chocolate Factory!" - and general guests don't get this anyway!? Its another ploy by Alton Towers to become 'family centred' buts its a rip off -...

Re: The Exchange Rate!

Yes, good news at the moment with the rate strengthening, just in time for majorca in two weeks time :D

Its far from 1.44 I got 2 years ago, but a great improvement on the 1.01 I got when I went skiing to Chamonix in Jan!
