Videos Relating to Angry/Annoyed People at Theme Parks

Hi everyone, Hope you don't mind me posting this. I've been a 'lurker' here a good number of years [edit: just checked, 10 years!], a year or so ago I posted an interview I'd conducted with John Wardley as part of my TV Production course. Since then I've been working in the "real world", I...

My Interview with John Wardley

Hi everyone, Earlier this year, as part of my Television Production degree, I researched and wrote the script for a documentary detailing the history of roller coasters within the UK. I was privileged enough to be given an interview with John Wardley. I've since graduated and felt like people might ...

Re: The "I feel happy" Topic

Nice! Gotta love a new laptop.

Just bought my girlfriend some boots
she wanted for Christmas. Totally broke but somehow I'm happy about it

Re: Small or random things that annoy you

Putting together flat pack bedroom furniture annoys me. I'm slightly going out of my mind, decided to have a break. I realise it's designed to be as easy as possible, I'm just a bit of a useless fool when it comes to anything slightly hands on...

Re: Orlando - Disney/Universal Security advice appreciated!

Brilliant, thank you. I didn't want to make an assumption and end up being disappointed! I'm thinking of buying a camcorder for the trip so knowing it can be left secure with other things we'd be taking is great. Did you get a camcorder in the end? Been looking at some and wondered what sort of thi...

Re: Warwick Castle Hoax

Also, This makes me laugh... "allowing children to have days out at MERLIN owned attractions" ohh you mean days out, at not really much expense to the company? Heres a idea send them off to Disney or a week on safari instead. Instead of bundling them all on a capsule on the companys Londo...

Re: Complaint - Alton Towers = Rip Off

With the whole BOGOF voucher thing, if there's an odd number of us we always find a stranger to share a voucher with at the entrance, works everytime. :)

Re: The Merlin Entertainments London Eye

Egh I always disliked the "Merlin Entertainments" name, I thought they should have carried on the Tussauds name as it seemed so much more sophisticated. "Tussauds London Eye" "Merlin Entertainments London Eye". Eww. It also would have linked it to Madame Tussauds better...

Re: Heath Ledger at Madame Tussauds

Actually Madame Tussauds just unveiled a brand new Michael Jackson figure last week which was supposed to celebrate his new tour at the O2.

Re: June 26th - First Report ;] [LONGISH]

A group of 14 of us also went on Friday 26th, and I think we planned the day very well avoiding massive queues. The longest queue we encountered was the rapids at 45 minutes. Day started off by heading for Air and Nemesis as we thought most people would hang around the Spinball / Oblivion area. Got ...

Re: 2010: Secret Weapon Six Part Three

It sounds like the ride at Thorpe that they compared SW6 to is X: No Way Out, since they said it was wholly enclosed with 4 trains.

Could be Vekoma?

Let me guess, the first 0 is missing and the last 4 digits are wrong?

Same with everyones, I'm sure it will be fine!

Re: Fastrack passes at Thorpe Park ??

There's not really any space for a decent queue line, it's pushed up right against the water edge as it is.

Re: Thorpe Park 2009: Saw - The Ride

With regard to the theme areas, Thorpe Park aren't going to be getting rid of these. SAW is very much following on from the Canada Creek theme that it's set in (if we try and forget Samurai sits in between SAW and the rest of the Creek for now!). On the SAW website, the blueprints have "Canada ...

Don't see how people can say the theming doesn't look as good as the plans. Looks exactly the same to me! We haven't seen what the front looks like yet, just what can be seen in the bottom right of these plans: http://content.maniahub.com/photo/Thorpe/Dylan%20Plans/1230.DCONEPLAN.004-001.jpg

Mr Monkey's and the Carousel are usually open til late.

The Carousel was playing the Asylum music on Sunday which was quite funny
