Re: gta v

Looks wicked, with nice and improved graphics also. I just hope they have the PC version ready for release along with the console versions this time. Probably not thought knowing Rockstar. It's good for the UK games industry, as this is one of the biggest games out there by far, and without a doubt ...

The first option, but what happened was even better.

He did not give all the people he killed the chance of a trial. What goes around comes around.

Re: New Audi Quattro 2012/2013

Same! I would wait a few years, I would rather buy some women for a week for that. Or even better a stupidly fast PC and kit out my music studio!

Re: New Audi Quattro 2012/2013

I think Audi's are some of the best looking cars there is, tbf. This new one is no exception, and looks amazing from my point of view. I am jealous of my friend, who at the tender age of 21 has managed to buy himself a 2009 plate, 3 door, Audi A5, sporting a 3.5 liter turbo. Which looks very gorgeous.

Re: Concorde - Would you like to see it fly again?

The main reason why Concorde was retired was to do with it's operators choosing to make their passengers fly subsonic as they could earn much more from them. I think that's quite sad really. Concorde made money but it just wasn't good enough for it's greedy owners who would rather fill their pocket...

Re: Nemesis track section replacements

That looks more like it's simply been grit blasted to remove the paint from it (it brings the metal to appear as new). It doesn't look like there's any new welding between the fins and the rails to me. But, you can clearly see in the picture that there is a piece of track missing. The bin bag is no...

Re: Nemesis track section replacements

As far as I know, apart from the re profile of the 1st drop, no track has been replaced, but simply took down for inspection at winter - can't blame them either, I wouldn't like to be up there in the freezing temperatures! Somewhere there is a photo of a crane taking part of the drop down, but can'...

Re: Nemesis track section replacements

Nemesis has had sections of track, or at least sections of rail replaced in the past. Specifically around the helix. There are pictures somewhere, ATA did have some but that section of the website is down at the moment. I also know a section of rail on the helix was replaced between the 2003 and 200...

Re: Man actually wins on hole in 1 car attraction

Also, remember the retail price of the car is much more than what it costs them to make it. So if they give a car away its only going to cost them what its cost them to make it.

Re: AT Staff accommodation...

Just to point out, if your over 21, your not going to be paid £5.60 per hour being a ride operator.. The legal limit set by the goverment is £5.93, or £6.08 from 1st October. If your under 21, the rate is lower, so it would make sense. Am I the only 1 thinking £5.65 per hour is a very poor wage for ...

Re: I Predict A Riot!

This is really an embarrasment for the country. The PM is saying about police cuts, this just prooves that they cant, the cant even control the masses as it is. Apparently rioting has started in my town now, time to take my double barrel shotgun out its safe downstairs and load her up with rounds. A...

Re: Alton Towers 3D Models

Yea texture creation is very hard, an art form in itself. What I mean with the physics is that if it was to be used as a simulator, a new physics system that runs in real time and with a standard programming language like C++ would have to be used. As people would want to control the ride. Therefor ...

Re: What happened to those blue pipes on Ripsaw

The blue things are fake electrical insulators. The ones you find of the size that they were on Ripsaw are typically used to insulation extremely high volatges, like on electricty pylons for example.

But they did look great yes, it's a shame they were removed.

Re: Alton Towers 3D Models

Looks amazing, the mesh looks nice and detailed, will look even better with a UV map and textures applied! I have messed about with programming over the years, I can do nothing special yet, but it would be safe to say if that was to be turned into a game then the actual 3d model would be the easy pa...

Like Dormiens-Dave already said, the longer term effects of cannabis can be pretty harmful, especially on mental health - which to me seems like an equally as pointless drug to get involved with for that reason. Well mental heath with cannabis has shown very good signs of it being subjective, Eg, m...

Re: Waterslide Manufacturers

I would hazard a guess that from the materials used to construct these slides that some of them would be as cheap as the tens of thousands, then rising upwards to whatever you want. Generally they would not be as much as rollercoasters though, theres no where near enough steel, machinery and electro...
