Went with new people today, Oblivion, Rita, Nemesis, Air etc all new to them. Order of Preference was 1- Air- flying position went down very well and seems lengthy 2- Nemesis- Short but intense 3- Oblivion- Short but what a drop, so rode three times to make up for it 4- Rita- what a launch but thats...

Hows about we stick with the fact which has been said many times before, they are owned by the same company, Thorpe put whatever rides in they do because they cant in Alton for various reasons, Slammer for instance would be tricky to install in Alton, they compliment each other rather than compete, ...

It depends on what level you consider either park to be the best, On Purely visitor numbers i think Thorpe may take it soon, but Alton will always hold something special, The natural setting is outstanding. Its all personal preference really, some of my freinds prefer the closeness of Thorpe and arg...

I think Rita is the same, I believe its so it wont get stuck on flat track, if the launch for whatever reason was not powerfull enough the train would always return to the station, or atleast come back as far as the brake fins on the track just outside the station. I am told Kingda Ka has been known...

Whats the deal with its loading and stuff again, will it be running 2 trains with a 3rd in standby? Is it just going to be that it begins to load next train when the other has left the station and wait to unload when you come back until next train has left, or is there something a bit more clever go...

Right it is still not working. So lets get this clear, you go on to the Flash thing link , click install, and then a little movie comes up with this silver rectange spinning around. And it say Macromeda Flash has installed. Then you restart your computer and click on the animation on the website. Y...

If you have downloaded the latest flash player then you probably need to restart your computer for it to work, thats what i had to do. download flash restart play I have only been on Rita once and i very much enjoyed it, thing is i only really remember the launch and how intense it is, so Stealth wi...

I'm obviously planning my trips wrong as whenever i go its always really busy, never realised it would be that dead before the close of season, even though they have extended the close by a week. Hopefully the park will draw more people over the whole season next year with Stealth, Slammer and Rush ...

I rather like the inline twists myself to, they are unique (bond231) and are really slow which makes a change, Coasters concentrate sometimes on speed too much and its over before you know whats happening, i even like the last twist which is a bit "well we have beaten the record with nine but if we ...

Now thats impressive, fast work by rcs, so much more to do in other areas i'm sure but the monster is essentially up, plenty of time for making the area look good around it.

The lack of supports high up makes it look good, will probably add to the experience too.

Nice to see the final supports going up already, cant wait to see that Top hat go on, must try and visit if they do before closed season. Nice pics mate On a side note i suppose the coverage of this ride has been so out in the open due to it being very difficult to hide it if they wanted to, too tal...

And might actually encourage me to make my first ever - yup - trip to Thorpe Park next year. Thats the idea of the ride and the improvements to the park since it was a joke park before, I think many people will be thinking the same thing. lets just enjoy watching it rise up (very quickly it seems) ...

Guys you are all missing the point, we shouldnt be arguing about Xcelerator, or Top Thrill Dragster and so on, we are discussing Stelth at TP not any other launched coaster! We sould be greatful that the Tussauds Group are deciding to put a Top Hat coaster in the UK, and All you critics would be ly...

Not liking top hats is a bold decision considering you have only ridden one, fair enough you dont like Xcelerators but you may like others, it cannot be assumed they are all the same, ride a fair selection of top hats then your opinion would get more respect and you wouldnt get torn apart. its bette...

Being they are going to be so similar (and you seem sure of this) and therefore not any good i'll assume that you wont be bothering to ride the thing, i mean why would you if its clearly going to be a copy of a mediocre ride you have already been on. Whats the point of riding a copy of a ride you do...

All burn.e is managing is make people like stealth and Thorpe even more than they did before, with all his comments everybody has come out to defend it in some way or another and the project and park is coming out of it better of and even more popular so who cares. Your helping people open there min...
