Re: Harry Potter Theme Park Announced!

True they do spend a lot more money than us. I have to agree the area does seem more focused on 'experience the world of HP' instead of 'ride the world of HP'. But im hoping that they will add new rides over the next few years because there is an endless amount that can be created. Im rooting for a ...

Re: Thorpe Park: Future Discussion

Is there any news on 2010 yet for Thorpe? I know this year has been Thorpe's year but i still think it needs investment next year as there is a lot that needs doing to the park to move it towards a 'resort'. I think something like Sea-life but not a aquarium would be great maybe a walk through dunge...

Re: Harry Potter Theme Park Announced!

^ My sentiments exactly! There should so be a version of this in the UK after all its set in the UK. Part of me thinks a small version would make a great expansion to Chessie but obviously no room. Mabye in a few years time we will be lucky and Universal/Wanner Bros will open something over here bas...

Re: Disney Buys Marvel - Future of IOA?

This is quite a move by Disney to be honest i dont think we will see any changes to or Marvel rides at Disney for a good 5 - 10 years.

Although they may look at opening a Marvel gate at Disneyland as then it wouldnt clash with Universal.

Re: PortAventura - Gold River Hotel (and town of Sullivan)

I hope so. Caribe Aquatic Park at PA was really good - but it did feel a little jaded in places (it was also quite pricey). I would love a Disney Water Park in Paris. It would make some of that Florida magic come a little closer to home! :D Slightly off topic but they planned LAva Lagoon for DLP de...

Re: Drayton Manor 2010

Rugeley Travelodge is around 30 mins drive from DMP - really easy access too. :) Thanks again i will remember that one when i do get down there - i was trying to sort it out last minute and one of the Travelodges were full so must have been that one. Personally i am all for hotels at theme parks no...

Re: Drayton Manor 2010

When I last read the Tamworth Herald (July?) I am sure it stated that the hotel was approved and going ahead (for 2010/11)? :) Thanks i knew i had seen the plans and heard 2010 but i wasn't sure if they were going ahead to build it for 2010 or just at some point around that time. I would say though...

Re: Legoland Windsor: The Next Ten Years!

I think it was the original Lego group who decided to build there - but for a long time before it was Legoland it was a big safari park. So you could argue that many locals moved there knowing that there was a big leisure attraction there already!

Re: Pleasurewood Hills 2009 (2010 Rumours Pg 2)

Yh that would be good - i really think that the park is quite underdeveloped as in its in quite a good location to become a more prominent park

Re: 2010: something new for the Nick Outta Control building?

Yh a 4D attraction would also be a welcome addition to the park - however if they did a unique film like they have for the London Eye im guessing it will be quite expensive>
