Congratulations! 5 Minors is really good, especially when you're so nervous.

As Duckman said: Real driving starts now. :P

My test was fairly early in the morning and I had an exam at school before, so my test was kind of drowned out by my maths exam. I think the best way to keep calm is just to think "what's the worst that could happen?" In this case it's; "I fail my test, do some more practice and then ...

Wow thanks for the awesome pictures of Magnus colossus! I've always been really amazed by this ride when I saw it on RCDB, the drop over the cliff looked so "real". It's a shame it was rough though, because it really looks the part! This trip report has intriuged me about this park more, I...

Re: Counselling

Just wondered if any TTF members had gone through this, or knew someone who has/is and what their experiences of it were. I have been to counselling for 2 things in my life. When I was younger I went just about my Tourrettes mainly because my mother wanted me to. Because I my young age I just found...

There is also the possibility that major rides will close, depending on the amount of precipitation (and it usually takes a fair bit of rain in the UK before rides shut.)

But as Nemair said, the park should be less populated. :D

I will look good on the beach this summer no matter what.

You go girl!

A little bit of determination goes a looong way in the gym, so I'm sure you'll look "good on the beach" quicker than you think. :D

"I intend to live forever. So far, so good." Great quote. 8) "Oh God I think I'm in love. Or I'm getting a bone on, which is basically the same thing if you cut out all the Valentine's cards and bulls**t" Hahaha, Peep Show is brilliant, I love it and that quote is just genious. ...

From past experience on Sheikra, the second drop with no holding brakes has really nice airtime, and the vehicle is still travelling at some fair pace while it goes over. I would like to experience this on Oblivion since the second drop on Sheikra is only 100ft (?), but I also hope it is fixed becau...

Sounds like you had a great day! Loads of rides on everything and nothing major was closed. Weather was good outside for me so I guess it was good for you too. :P Did you not give Battle Galleons a try then? I missed out when I went back in April because my friends said it was too cold. *cough* puss...

Atleast nobody was hurt this time, last years accident was horrific. I am very surprised that the drop tower continued operation on the same day, although I suppose each drop-line is separate. Hopefully this will spark some much needed safety checks on all Intamin Drop Towers as 2 accidents in the s...

At 6 months old I was carted off to AT with my parents. It would have been around April 91'. Went back in 94' and spent the whole day looking at Nemesis (I was only 3 :P). That's where it all started really. It's hard to imagine I've gone from just Alton Towers and Gulliver's Kingdom to Florida, Cal...

First coaster: Log Coaster at GK Matlock! Awesome ride.

First inverting coaster: Corkscrew (AT), was forced on by my father. :D Glad he made me ride it.

First B&M: Air, should have been Nemesis, but at the time the queues were huge for some reason.

From past experience on other rides with commentary I get tired of the chavs situated infront and behind of me constantly taking the p!ss out the ride's music/video. How can you say anything insulting about the ride music/videos :? [/quote] Oh they find ways! They are basic p!ss-takes usually invol...

This is a hard question to answer since we pretty much contradicted ourselves. :P One possible(?) solution could be queue line progression, ie; having new parts of the story unveiled as you get closer to the station. This wouldn't work on quiet days, but then there's no queue anyway. Working out the...

I agree with Wes having a short 2-3 minute video/commentary. Problems come with repetition however, but that is occurrent on almost all rides with "pre-shows/videos". From past experience on other rides with commentary I get tired of the chavs situated infront and behind of me constantly t...

I suppose you could talk about this for ages but put simply, the chances are very, very (very) low that anything will actually go wrong. http://www.themeparkinsider.com/reviews ... accidents/ This page lists injuries over the last few years and as you can see they are very few. The only real serious...

I have a mild case Tourettes Syndrome, it doesn't really get me down but it makes my confidence almost non-existent! Luckily though my close friends don't care and even though I know they know it, they have never ever questioned me about it. My overall lack of confidence really gets to me sometimes ...
