Re: Florida 2010

Not bad prices! But I got quotes for the June/July period since thats when the OP said they would want to fly. £225 for New York is an amazing price! Now if only I could find a job I would love to got there for a short break  I hate being broke and unemployed 'tis not fun and I would not recomm...

Re: Florida 2010

Virgin Atlantic prices atm seem to be floating around the £250/80 mark. £500 gets you premium seats... Hmmm, well ours (I checked) our costing 590pp for economy, flying out on a Thursday during school term, flying back in Easter holidays I've never heard of people getting flights as cheap a...

Re: Florida 2010

Flights will be your biggest expenses we fly in 3 weeks and it's costing I think about £500 + pp for VirginA. Indirect charter flights are cheaper however you just got to shop around, and bear in mind unlike virgin or BA most charters even direct will arrive in Sanford airport which is a bit of a dr...

Re: ORLANDO!

I'm going Easter to ! 26th March - 13th April and I can't wait! Theres so much to do I couldn't even begin to describe the best rides. But my favorite parks are Magic Kingdom, Sea World and Islands of Adventure - all offer something different and are top notch theme parks. Do your research before yo...

I love Corkscrew for many reasons. 1) The queue is always very short so I will always go on it (only been on Rita once but now I refuse to go on it due to the stupid lengh of the queue) . When have you been on Rita! I've never queued longer than abut 20 minutes while for air and nemesis etc I'm nor...

Just go on them... You'll regret it all of this the day you finally go on them, because I did after being a Rollercoaster Wimp for 15 years. You sound like me1 I can't believe I was such a coaster wimp. The best way to get over it is go on a big one fist, just go for it straight away, I conquered m...

Spalshs are fun to dance too (when we were there I got the whole family to dance cue red faces when the lift door opens and a massive crowd of people outside ... ) but Altons flashy lights are amazingly fun

For me like I said the biggest problem for me is the way they look especially the Flume. I don't think it being almost entirely outside helps it, as the drop can never look good when all it's got behind it is a couple of trees. The best Flues are normally those with the majority of it inside and the...

Altons water rides (I'm talking about the Flume and CRR here) are bad very bad. !) The Flume - Aesthetically it is ugly very ugly and old it has a little bit of theming but compared to the likes of Disney and Universal it's the bottom of the heap. There they are themed to an inch of their life and t...

I find Pizza Hut pretty cheap and good value for money regarding food, it's either £4 or £5 and you get a Pizza (big enough to fill you up) wedge/chip type things and a drink, couldn't comment on the others as I've never eaten there

I know it's not got the size of Walt Disney world etc, but maybe they could do something like the system they have where you register online before you trip (not 100% sure how it works but you get a number or a card or something) Then at the parks they have special photographers dotted all around an...

I'd also go along with the Rapids. They are sculpted into the landscape, and are always popular on a hot day, as well as being a genuinely good laugh and one of the roughest I've been on. 20 times as good as Thorpe's. One of the roughest  they're the tamest I've ever been on. I think I'd hav...

I get really funny with restraints I hate it when they're just that bit loose, they have to be circulation cutting tight, I know it's still going to keep me in ifs a bit loose but I still worry. Oblivions the only one where I always without fail think I'm going to die when you go up the lift hill an...

Yeah but you see a lot more kids who are tall enough i.e 8up going on Air as opposed to Nemesis and Oblivion. I also nearly always see kids lined up against the rular to see if they're tall enough not something you see with Nemesis and Oblivon. My sisters almost 3 and she's already over 1m so it's o...
