Re: Best Piece of Track On Any Rollercoaster?

Nemesis's helix and the inversion over the station after it. The G-Force on the helix on the back is madness. Love it :D

Re: Best Airtime Coaster

You're right, too many airtime coasters to include.
My best one is megafobia :)

Best Airtime Coaster

Right, well there isn't a poll for this I don't think, so I'll start one. This isn't a vote for best coaster, but for best AIRTIME. :) There's a couple of UK ones in there but tbh, they're not much competition.. :P Please say if you think any need to be included, think there's a decent amount there ...

Re: Six Flags Great Adventure report with pics

Great Report :D

The two US parks I REALLY want to visit though are Cedar Point and Six Flags Magic Mountain. Only good US park I've been to was IoA and it was amazing :D

So Nitro or El Toro?

Re: Thorpe Park First Timer

Definitely suggest going to SAW: The Ride first. Then either stealth to get on it before the queues or colossus 'coz it's close :) That's what I do anyway, the queue for SAW gets massive..

Re: Dark Forest & RITA - General Discussion

I really don't think roboarms are a good move. Yes, they're quite fun, but the throughput really is awful. They have them at a park in France that I went to and that was a fairly quiet park on a quiet day, but the queue for roboarms moved agonizingly slow. It took just under an hour for a ride which...

Re: Quick Questions 2010

Hi there, I was wondering whether it'd be better to buy the ride photopass or just print out the offer from the website? Also, are they still selling ERT at the entrance? I think they did last year.. another thing, are they still selling 'Scream Ultimate' Fasttrack? I've heard about it but it's not ...

Re: Alton Towers Or Thorpe Park?

Alton Towers, no question. I really enjoy days at Thorpe, I visit about once a year for 2 days often, and get Ultimate Fasttrack for at least one of the days because the queues can get too much sometimes. However, I can enjoy Alton Towers so much more without any fasttrack which is down to b...

Re: Th13teen - Ride discussion [SPOILERS TOPIC]

Have they SEEN Top Thrill Dragster? Of course not, half of the people on the AT Facebook page don't even know there's a rollercoaster higher than 400ft, let alone the concept of naming it. And if you even try mention to them what Intamin is...[/quote] Aha, very good point. I just meant if they had ...

Re: Th13teen - Ride discussion [SPOILERS TOPIC]

I'm definitely a fan of Th13teen. :) First half of the outdoor section is fun but the second half is slow and dull at best. The crypt however is amazing :D The drop was great and I wasn't expecting the backwards section to be so good :) The Alton Towers facebook page annoys me no end :| Before openi...

Re: Most blatant queue jumping ever!

I've never understood why the queues are so wide. If they made them about 18" - 2 feet wide max, it would force people to go in single file. There would be no room for pushing past people, and it would take up less space! :D Also, all queues should have solid fences at least 5 feet high. Probl...

Re: Alton Towers Guest Services

Guess I wouldn't know about that then- never written in. I had the same situation. Stealth, Saw and Slammer closed most of the day, had ultimate fast track so when they did open, went there and the fast track queue for Saw was 30 minutes. They really have a problem with overselling. Barely even a 's...

Alton Towers Guest Services

Feel free to delete if there's another topic but I couldn't find it. :P Well I'm very impressed with the guest services at the Towers. After going to Thorpe Park guest services when Saw was down nearly all day they simply said 'we can't help that and it's not our problem' even though I had travelled...

No it hasn't. :P The staff have probably just been opening it early because I noticed that they were often opening it at about 9:30 but it wasn't on official ERT.
