His wife was kinda hot apparently too, and then they got divorced. I wonder why...

Bloody hell. That's scary. How can he be allowed to roam free? :|

Re: Water Park: What's going on?!

Well in terms of the waterpark and staying for 10 days, I'd definitely look at going to waterworld. Granted that unless you go on a Friday (where it stays open till 9) the opening times aren't much better than Alton's so you could mix and match maybe? As well as it being a much bigger waterpark, the...

Re: The mysterious Alton towers cat!

I've seen one going from X Sector to Dark Forest (nearly said UG land then :P ) but I'm not sure if it was the same one as in the link. I found it rather funny at the time.

Re: 'Poll-ercoaster' - Morwenna's Publicity Stunts are back!

I agree! I read all Morwenna's crap then thought it would be great. I then read everyones comments on here which made me feel like I was going to be disappointed, so went there expecting a fun family coaster and it actually impressed me! If they marketed it as a family coaster gone wrong, i.e being ...

Re: Guess the year

very close  The iconic ride was oblivion, the others pretty much speak for themselves :) I guess I didn't give enough clues 'cause it could've been 2005 but no, I tried to hint by saying fairly new because it was 2006 :D reading it back it wasn't clear but good guesses everyone :)

Re: Alton Towers/The sun Offer

I think if you haven't got them yet I think it will either be because you're getting a later date or if you forgot to write the dates on the envelope. Even if you did forget, you'll still get them, they just do those ones last :) I forgot to and well my Dad rang up two weeks ago with the proof of po...

Re: Guess the year

I was fairly young and was pretty much just tall enough for the rides yet I was determined to get on 'em all :D I ran to the ride that was probably most famous and iconic and the queue was less than 5 minutes! After walking past what I had heard was good from a friend a year before yet it didn't qui...

Re: Alton Towers next thrill ride

I'm still hoping they put a scarefest maze in there. Would be unbelievably good location I think, and it would be nice to have another maze on site. I don't mind paying the cost of the maze, it's just a faff going off site, especially now we won't have a FO1000S this year. I didn't know fie...

Re: Drinks refills, annual passes and lots of other questions

I live about 5 mins from west midlands safari park and I agree that it's better for younger kids as there is the main very big drive through safari, with the feeding of some animals etc, which there is a wide range of. Also once in the theme park, there's a small petting zoo with goats and things as...

Re: Fastrack Prices 2010

For some reason Th13TEEN staff always seem very efficient. ---- Post Info Added ---- Maybe people might but it for rita, however I don't see how they would manage to fit it in unless they got rid of single rider (which they better not) and also on th13teen, I don't think that option would be very p...

Re: Any future for the Wooden Coaster?

I very much disagree that a big woodie wouldn't be worth SW status. Quite the opposite. In my opinion if we had anything close to the original plans, with the near 200 ft drop(s), would quite possibly be the second best coaster at the park. (After nemesis of course) and I really hope they pull it to...

Re: Fastrack Prices 2010

I wouldn't worry about next week. Pretty much all the school's are back now and last Tuesday was in the Easter Holidays and if I remember rightly quite a hot day. ---- Post Info Added ---- I think the reason for th13teen not getting a long front row queue is because of the member of staff telling pe...

Re: Google Street View to feature Alton Towers?

Looking at the picture from this street view IMO just shows how small the parks entrance is. The entrance isn't that overwhelming and in my opinion could be much bigger and it could be much nicer. It's nice at the moment but no that eye-catching. I would say that Thorpe's entrance with the segments...

Re: Are Single Rider Queues a waste of time?

The SRQ's seem to vary in effectiveness for me. The Rita one as many of you have said is diabolical. Moves so slowly and is often quite full. The air one also seems to be painfully slow. It takes a long time for you to get sent down to one of the two stations and because there is two, once you're at...

Re: Alton Towers Staff Ride Areas

Ah that's cleared it up for me too :) Yeah Thorpe is almost unbelievably small, especially if you look on google maps, it almost looks like Thorpe could fit into Forbidden Valley!
