I just watched the bit with the new theming for the haunting and it looks so much better. I even gonna say it now looks better than Hex.

Re: Towers Loving Care

I would have liked to see work at least going on painting the outside of the Charlie and the chocolate factory ride.

Re: SW8

Do you think they moved SW8 to the flume site as they more likely get planning permission to build a woodie there instead of across the valley.

it might not be for SW8 itself, they are probably there about scrap metal from the flume

Re: SW8

The Secret weapon and world's first is what brings guests back from all around the world to try this new coaster. It what draws new guests and old back to the park.

Can I ask how this compares to Cyper Mountain in Disney Quest as I love this attraction?

Re: Walt Disney World - Disney's Hollywood Studios

To think it's down to Disney having there own team of builders and with the Florida heat they mainly work at night. When they did the Hub area at the Magic Kingdom work was only done at night so guests wouldn't hear and see them working but Universal on the other hand there rides are build by subcon...

Re: Busch Gardens Tampa

Would have been nice for it to last to it's 40th birthday. I think that's what lacking at Busch Gardens is a very good themed water ride. I also didn't think much to the log flume.

Re: Walt Disney World - Disney's Hollywood Studios

It's taken them over 18 months so far just to retheme a ride to Frozen. 6 months just to rebuild the queue line for Soarin and upgrade the screens and projectors. To be fair they have added a third screen to soarin' The 5 years spent on Avatar on the other hand is questionable... They started work ...

Has anyone thought that the flume could be replaced with another flume system. Just look how popular they are worldwide and still getting built.

Re: SW8

If it's gonna open next season it's gonna be a unthemed ride like Rita as that only took 7 months from start to finish. Even the Smiler site was started to be cleared in April with planning permission going in Dec 2011. Have they even started removing the Flume yet as I guess that could take awhile ...

Re: Ride Closures/Removals in 2016

I think it's all down to cost cutting. The amount of Staff needed to run Hex,Charlie and Sub terra. Can't really understand Wobble World but have always said that room always been poor compared to the indoor play areas family parks offer. What about the driving school as I guess the deal with Peugeo...

Is there any pics of the closed rides? Are they all fenced off like the Flume?
