Re: New flats for Dark Forest?

A chaos could work well They are fun rides but if reliability was anything like Southport's/LWV's, then it would be a terrible move for AT. Seems like a complete lack of aftercare by the manufacturer. What's needed is a flat to soak up as many people as possible - I would be happy with a flat that'...

Re: Ug Land / Rita 2010

To be honest I don't think we can say for sure the racecar theme is staying. ATR09 said the cars have had a complete retheme, so perhaps the theme for the whole ride has changed. The control tower could be a the site office for the archaeological dig that uncovered the crypt, then when the curse was...

Re: Walygator 2010: B&M "Raptor" Inverted Coaster

It's hard to see progress, it seems that between the two updates posted here that the snow has melted and more parts have arrived. Surely that won't be ready before Easter? Re: SW6 / Thirteen - Ride & Construction discussion.

The image Nightfall posted on the previous page encouraged me to draw a simple diagram of how a tilt would easily fit in the space and is a good way of not having too sharp a pull out. http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb149/rupercharles/13drop.jpg Heres how it would go: Green track represents stat...

Re: Corkscrew: The End of an Era.

Exactly - I was making the point that AT have done the right thing by investing in a new coaster when Corkscrew was old, uncomfortable and not at all special. It is a good point but then all new coaster designs need a concept that can be improved upon and developed. Either way, the main thing is tha...

Re: Corkscrew: The End of an Era.

I know which one I'd go for! It was too painful anyway, not to mention outdated and a mass-produced ride still available in many other parks. AT did the best thing by investing in a new, world's first coaster.
