Well this confirms there is no whasing machine element :)

It's a shame as it would have been a quick way to wash my clothes.  ;)

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

One I still believe there is a SE becuase the said themselves there is a SE, the wont and CAN'T lie ( a little thing called the law... ;) ) and it did skip for a few secs! The lights were on and it still looks unconstructed in the indoor section, and it's JW final coaster he was settel for amazing ...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

I don't really think we can completely rule out a SE Just because we've seen this it doesn't suddenly rule out everything that has happened before to persuade us that there is infact a SE. Even if it's just effects, I still believe there will be one, John wardley said it himself. Every coaster with...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Screeching is nothing new and happens to most coasters when their wheels are wearing in. The screaming will drown it out... The lift hill will be faster in the future, they won't run it on full speed straight from the off. Happens on most coasters as well. Don't know why people kept thinking there w...

I can't believe the previous two posts I just read. Who signs up to a forum and moans on their first post? Really.

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

I think that might be the first clip/advert. I wouldn't be surprised if another is released soon with more footage with the trains going round the track. I suspect a shorter version will be used for the TV adds too.

50% marmalised, the train has made it 50% of its way around the track?

It's made it 100% round now by the looks of it!

Re: The Smiler - Other Discussion

OK I'll add this here. I created a Smiler custom soundtrack and thought I'd send a cheeky email to Mr.Wardley himself to hear his views. He's very polite and always has time for enthusiasts. He reviewed another track I did in the past. Well, I just recieved a reply and he said thank you for sharing ...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

They look good. Look like they're going to very flexible and not rigid like I first thought.

Back seat should be good for airtime I think !!

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

Do we think that the Marmaliser will have any audio. That would be cool! I should think it must do! Full frontal assault on the senses :) They'd be silly to miss that opportunity! Ropers. (Someone PLEASE correct me here…) Which is incredibly annoying. Nemesis, with the theme blasting out is UNBELIE...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Reckon the smoke might be laughing gas? Though I'll post that question in speculation. I love how complete everything looks now. Looks like we'll definitely see it opened soon! It won't be laughing gas as far as I know that would be illegal? Someone feel free to correct me. I know it wouldn't be sa...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

I'm disappointed if it is indeed water spray. And I 'do' hope they have something more exciting in the wings. That does not merit people quoting me and saying that I'm ungrateful. It could be air spray. As in an effect that happens just before the car hits it, and then happens after the car has pass...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

I have to say this is tremendously disappointing. A smoke machine and some spray wash? I was expecting that these concepts would be more engrained within the ride instead of looking at an over-done truss work with a few effects (which will probably stop working within a month of the ride opening. C...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Is there any way the smoke/mist could be coloured? As in yellow, like the game? Would give a better effect in my opinion. And I would absolutely love it if the Innoculator needle spray could have some sort of 'smell' to it. You know, that horrible hospital/medical smell you get when you go to the De...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Haven't posted for a month or so. But kept myself updated.

AT have built something unique and brilliant here. It looks awesome.

The airtime in the second bunny hop could be the stand out moment of the ride if its not trimmed too much!
