Re: Thorpe Park 2015 Coaster

From seeing the videos of the different models of that across the world, it looks like it packs a pretty big punch on some of the smaller hills. It's definitely something I'd like to see in the UK, although I always thought one might look better at Drayton Manor. I'm not sure where they would put on...

Re: Thorpe Park 2015 Coaster

You guys ought to stay on topic or else a mod will give you all a clip around the ear hole! :P

Would anyone here object to the 2015 coaster being a mini Intimidator 305? :D

Re: Mack Launched Coaster for SeaWorld California 2012?

I'd love to see something like this at Chessington. It looks like good fun. A perfect starter launch coaster. Make the first half slightly shorter so it doesn't loose too much force and momentum, give it a bit more height and that would be a great little coaster. Some more theming in the station wou...

Re: Does the UK need more rollercoasters, or 'experience rides?'

I meant in comparison to a ride such as Hulk. But then again, I've never been so I wouldn't know which rides get the greater queues out of them. :P

Either way, I'm sure if you said to someone would you prefer a ride like Hulk or a dark ride like Spiderman, they wouldn't say the dark ride.

^ That's a shame, because everyone here would be more than happy to help them with suggestions. Even if a lot of suggestions wouldn't be viable. :P

Re: Does the UK need more rollercoasters, or 'experience rides?'

I'd like to see more themed flats like Ripsaw because they're good fun, don't cost much and are always great just to watch. But I'd also like to see more dark rides. Something like 'HP & the Forbidden Journey' or 'Spiderman' would be good too. But as Nightfall said, they just don't have the same...

Legoland Discovery Centre for Canada

After browsing my Twitter feed this morning, Screamscape have posted the following: Merlin Entertainment has announced plans to build their first Legoland Discovery Center in Canada. It will open in Spring 2013 at Vaughan Mills in the Toronto area. source Screamscape provided a link to a larger arti...

Re: Car park improvements

You both are obviously not familiar with the O2 Arena, and there parking 'scheme'...they have a big arrow saying i.e. 'PETER KAY PARKING HERE £25'... so they basicly mislead you because infact if you go to the other car park, the parking is £8 for your stay...no questions asked. So misleading, yes,...

Re: BigAl's No Limits Coasters

Well I'd say no. I wanted the concept to be simple and efficient. I know that developing new concepts and making them real, working machines isn't a cheap thing to do, so my idea with this is to make it cheaper to install and run too. Making it invert would only increase the costs and the chances of...

Re: Etnaland 2013: "The Storm" Mack Coaster + S&S Mine Train!

That big boat ride is Jungle Splash. I could only find this POV for it (you may need to turn the volume down :P ) but this off-ride video shows you most of it. Click here and you'll see that the boat does indeed sits on a lift and gets pulled up to the top before being pushed forward down the drop. ...

Re: RedIsland theme park

I'm sorry if this comes across as being rude in any way, but do you have any pictures to provide so that people can get a glimpse of what you're doing? It's just that there are so many topics like this that get made but never actually get filled with any content. Even just one image would be good. :)
