I would hope that the draining issue is resolved over closed season, although I doubt it will be as it was equally a huge problem last year.

Re: The Annual End of Season Review

Well it was my first year visiting Thorpe, my first visit in June was a huge success and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Now my second visit which was to fright nights after hearing some raving reviews I'm not sure if I expected too much but I wasn't too impressed to be honest. The actual o...

Re: 2015 Scarefest

If AT was to carry on with scary tales and make it into a maze rather than a scare zone what tales would people like to see?

Re: 2015 Scarefest

Just a heads up guys Alton have a survey online at the moment about scarefest and to be honest it's quite a comprehensive one. One of the questions what would you like to see in the future, there are various options to choose from but new maze was there :D Below is the link http://www.altontowers.co...

Re: Thorpe Park - Shark Hotel Discussion

There don't seem to be many reviews for the Shark Hotel so I thought I would add my experience. I went for Fright Nights which cost £114 per person. This included two days entry into the park, a night in the hotel and breakfast the next morning. The hotel staff were all friendly enough, we were boo...

Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

Can anyone shed any light on why during fright nights the swarm was running 1 train creating 2 hour queues? Surely one of the busiest times on the year you'd have both trains operating from opening. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Re: 2015 Scarefest

I'd love to see a new maze and some new updates to TOTT, if not a whole new story.

The sleepovers + dinners got great reviews s I'd love to see them return too.

Re: Fright Nights

Yeah thorpe were replying to people guessing on the exact figure earlier. Somebody guessed 15000 and thorpe replied it wasn't that amount so people were suspecting 20-25000 with 2 hour queues for rides and mazes. Can anyone share any tips for eating, I know the rides and mazes will be busy on Wednes...

Re: Fright Nights

In my opinion, Fright Nights is better than Scarefest. The ambiance on park is electric. The mazes are free and are included with your entrance ticket. Queue times on the mazes a normally 30mins to an hour long. Depending on how busy the park. But with the mazes attracting the people, the queues fo...

Re: Alton Towers - Offers, Vouchers and Discounts

Hey guys just wondering I have a voucher 1 adult entry for £24 voucher off a box of Daz, will I be able to use it to enter the park for fireworks? I've looked on the voucher/box for small print about when it can be used but not seen anything about it.

Re: Alton Towers Freebies

Had free cereal when the smiler opened. Had some kellogs squares and also had Fanta.

Not had any free fastracks unless you count the ones the hotel give you during scarefest as no ERT.

Re: Fright Nights

Hey guys just wanting a honest reply, I know everyone on here loves Alton but I have a predicament which I would love some advice for. Now me and my partner have been to scarefest at Alton various times and enjoyed all the night rides, scare mazes, zones and even the hotel entertainment at the ATH. ...
