Re: What ride's freak you out?

I can cope with any dark ride. Usually I get frustrated by all the emergency signs throughout...but just looking at a ferris wheel sends shudders down my spine, manifested by a bad experience as a child.

Re: RCT3 - Elmwood Lake Adventure Park (NEW RIDE ANNOUNCED - 19th May)

This park really makes me want to load up RCT again until I realise I have not got any custom made content and how tedious it is make something like this. Keep up the good work. Your doing it so I dont have to.  8)

Re: Special attractions

I cant say that a ride has helped me with any mental health issues but thinking about it, I would say that my visit to Six Flags Magic Mountain and riding X2 had a significant impact on me. Since the construction of the ride in 2001 I had been in awe at the unique design of it and I always promised ...

Re: Thorpe Park Terrible Car Park System!

I think a better way to do this would be to just add £1 to the park entrance fee and remove the barriers. This would give a net increase on revenue because most people arrive in cars at least as a pair. The leaving Qs would be gone and people would get home an hour earlier. They charge the car parki...

Re: International drive Florida (WTF)

I remember going to idrive in 2000 and found it magical, the huge selection of restaurants and unusual shops it really had a buzz about it and was the place to be for people out there on vacation.  However when I returned last year I remember thinking that despite a few more hotels that had po...

Re: Package Holidays Idea at Alton Towers

My planned day trips to Alton Towers always start out with best intentions but when I calculate the total cost including fuel etc, I end up going abroad instead.

Re: Sickness policy at work

I think ive had 6 days in the last 12 months. The line of attack is to make sure that I am ok and got everything I need as a 'duty of care' but my partner is downstairs anyway so I am already well catered for. I certainly dont have anything to hide other than the fact that I dont feel like entertain...

Sickness policy at work

I phoned in sick this morning as I am laying in bed with a throat infection, 20 minutes later i had a call from my manager asking to make a home visit today. Im not even meant to start work for another 2.5 hrs. This does feel like harrassment. I will definatly be rejecting the visit. Has anyone else...

Help me find a pc game!

I am a strategy/tycoon junky but I have accepted that there is little out there these days so I am looking for something else. Im sick of buying half finished, repetitive, wafer thin games that see you completing the same objectives so im looking to go into a new direction altogether. I decided to l...

Best European park?

I have just returned from Australia and suffering from the holiday blues so im looking for a mega cheap weekend getaway for the autumn to include a themepark.

I have already been to Port aventura and Terra Mittica so what would be the best place to fix my need for speed besides these two?

Re: Help With Complaining

I dont think its helpful to deconstruct a subjective cause for complaint. If a customer pays for a service and feels that they do not feel they have received the value of their purchase, then they have the right to complain. I personally would not visit AT after a visit like the one described and I ...

Re: Florida - August & October - Advice?!

If you are going twice in one year I would recommend leaving 3 days to drive down to the Everglades and Miami. We spent two weeks in Florida and after doing all the hustle and bustle of the themeparks we actually found that hiring a bicycle and cycling through the everglades, weaving around huge bug...

Re: Vortex: Where to sit?

In my experience you either get a great ride or a rubbish one no matter where you sit. Once its found its balance it pretty much stays that way all the way through. I dont know why they dont set the spin just 1 or two rpm faster. It would solve the lottery of a dissapointing ride.

Re: Thorpe Park 2015 Coaster

I will defend Tp in so much as to say that a few can spoil it for the many at TP. At Alton you can come out at the end of the day having not recognised any faces but with thorpe being so enclosed its easy to bump into the same few that cause a nuisance or draw attention to themselves. Sometimes at T...

The Lottery chances increased this evening

Tonight the euromillions is giving away 18 raffle tickets of 1 million pounds so I purchased 3 tickets to further increase my chances. If there are 6 million people that play the euromillions each week and the raffle is being drawn 18 times tonight I make that 6 million / 18 =333,333 to one and with...
