Re: Thorpe Park Resort - Quick Questions

Saw: Doesn't exist :sus: Get out. Saw: 2nd dispatched train front row in the middle is (in my opinion) the best way to experience the full ride. I have to agree with Jack on this. It really is the best way to fully experience everything this coaster has to offer :)  Colossus you really do need to b...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

I love the idea but there is part of 1 of the pictures I can’t take seriously. They are looking confused at a rock. I mean, it’s a rock!

Re: The Swarm

I bloody love this coaster so so so so much! Its just a big barrel of joy for me and I can't wait to get back on it. That dive drop is just such a nice feeling. It gives me a warm feeling inside. Sad I know, but this coaster is just fun to me and I adore it!

Re: Stealth

I'm still waiting on this to be rethemed to Drag Race :lol But seriously, I adore Stealth. I used to hate the launch, but the more i've ridden it the more I have started to enjoy the ride. I have ridden in practically every seat and the back is by far the better place to sit on it. Don't get me wron...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

I actually like the idea of 3/4 of these. Fright Nights I’m hoping has a complete overhaul but that’s for a different topic. Jungle Escape and Bouncezilla just sounds fun and they could just be a laugh to do with your mates. Whilst it’s not the most exciting thing to happen, it’s something different...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

This is a wild shot in the dark, but with the first infinite logo relating to gaming, it got me thinking. Whats something that's game related but can work in a jungle theme and the only thing that comes to mind other than video games is a themed escape room. But I have just remembered Containment ex...

The Black River is what the boat scene is being hinted at being called in the AT Dungeon according to a video posted to Alton Towers social media.

Re: Project 2020

I'm not entirely sure of the technicalities but if a coaster is listed on a previously approved LTDP, isn't it easier and faster to get planning permission once the time comes to build it? that might suggest planning permission may be later than expected. I also seem to remember them getting some k...

Osteria Ai Pioppi

In Treviso in Italy, Osteria Ai Pioppi is an playground with a difference. Every single piece in this place has been built by hand by Bruno Ferrin. He has been building things for more than 40 years and they just keep getting bigger and better. It so somewhere i'd love to experience. (All images fou...

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019

But isn't the Hex story based on legend not fact? Dungeon shows are based on fact and the actual history.

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019

I have started to think what shows we will see inside the Dungeon. I think there will of course be The Torturer, The Plague Doctor and The Judge as they seem to be in every Dungeon attraction. I will be surprised if those don't appear in the attraction. What other shows do you think there will be?

Re: SAW: The Ride

I like the theme and atmosphere of the ride, and the indoor section is pleasant enough. That for me is where the enjoyment ends, as the outside section is pure pain. This is my exact thoughts on Saw too :lol. Maybe I just have issues with Gerstlauer coasters in general :lol  Seriously though, Saw w...

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019

I think it will be a case of can't please everyone with it. I personally am happy to pay £5 for it so it pays to keep the actors actually there and not cut them like with IAC than i'm all for it :)

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019

I am beginning to get fed up with this whole gotta pay to do it thing if I'm to be honest. Every Dungeon attraction, including Warwick is pay extra. It's only £5 too, which isn't that expensive. No one will force them to do it. Not doing it will not ruin anyones day. I guess making it a pay for attr...

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019

The Dungeon attractions are more fun than scary. Just because they are based on the scary past, they bring it across in a fun way so I understand that side of it. I don't think the batching will be an issue. Scenes will always need time to reset, so there will always be a delay in start times. I thi...

Re: Galactica - General Discussion

the other option of course is that we theme it for StarGate SG-1, is already got a StarGate, and I would love to see a SG-1 ride. Noooooo! Towers are, at the moment, IP free on their big coasters and its better that way. I like Glacaticair the way it is. No changes to the theme. Just get rid of the...
