Re: 2012: New Attractions

I know that but form the plans the building only just passes halfway on most of the trees around the ride, just makes no sense to me :/

Re: 2012: New Attractions

The building looks **** from the artwork, however I'm hoping it'll look better once built. Another thing I don't understand is why on earth are they digging so far down when they could have easily got another 5m if not 10m higher above ground, which would then allow a better tower (if it is a tower,...

Re: 2012: New Attractions

I like how you have the que entrance down near the bottom closer to the "Hub of activity", which would certainly make the ride feel more attatched to FV, however would there be any que that is enclosed, as that significantly helps build atmosphere for a dark ride IMO. Past couple of hours ...

How big could a dark flat be on the old dynamo site by the way?

No bigger than 20m*20m which makes this more confusing.

But YAY DARK RIDE! We need more of 'em

Re: 2012: New Attractions

Yeah, it's for the Skyride. It's seems it's not the kind of scaffolding for a building. Not an expert on scaffolding by any means, though. :P Too soon for it to be appearing if the Flume was getting refurbed. Courtyard BBQ being covered in it as well probably confirms it. As for the tent, they can ...

Merlin's next park?

Basically where do you think Merlin should buy/build a park? I Personally think that they should buy M&D's. Why? Well because: There's a massive plot of land (about 900m wide by 1300m long, if they own everthing inside the road, if not they may as well just buy it. Relatively Blank canvass, no r...

Re: Black Hole's Replacement

I would never take a topscan or a 3d theatre over a new roller coaster. And of course it would do something. It'd give the tent some decent use, beef up the ride count, absorb Oblivions queues (which have always been around 1hr20ish when I go during the summer) and would be a family coaster which w...

Re: Black Hole's Replacement

It doesn't do anything though :/

I still think that having a new building would be a better idea (more space, and will looks better as the tent IMO looks very run down and old)

If we were to be keeping the tent I think a flat like samurai at TP or a 3D theater thingy would be best.

Oh #-o  Didn't see the link :(

That's most certainly not of Alton's standards IMO.

Re: Black Hole's Replacement

i don't think a coaster would be a good idea, the balance of the park is currently too coaster oriented and although i love the coasters with SW7 on the way and an obvious lack of flat rides to bulk up the family side of the park we need a more family oriented ride to replace the black hole, this b...

If people can compare Eagle's Claw to PMBO, they'll be able to compare two launch coasters in one park. :P

Did you actually watch the video?

Re: Black Hole's Replacement

Not a fan of Zamperla motobike coasters, Probably too similar to Rita with the launch, and draw unfavourable comparisons with the excelent Velocity at Flamingoland, and those straight sections kill any excitement and pacing of what could have been a great little ride. Whoever said anything about th...

Re: Black Hole's Replacement

^That's a Good Idea but I still think a Rollercoaster should go there as it would provide better Balance to the park with two coasters in the 3 major areas (FV X-Sector and DF), and then we'd just need so flats in DF to have them completely balanced. First onto the tent. Am I the only person who thi...
