Re: RCT3: Redwells Theme Park

So, turns out the park wants another area before the Grand Opening! They've started a poll (find it at the top of the page) to see what theme is most suitable. Why not go place your vote?

Re: RCT3: Redwells Theme Park

I was so lucky to head along to the preview of the park today! Finally, I got to head along today and see what all the fuss is about. http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/1443/0o3l.jpg It's early, so not many people around http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/3623/w5q4.jpg The excitement is unreal! ...

Re: RCT3: Redwells Theme Park

Hi all. Sorry for the delay! Turns out that the track was being removed from another park. Redwells is however close to opening. The only image released is this one of the entrance mid construction: http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/2025/xi7r.jpg See you soon for an opening day update!

Re: Alton Towers Recreation - RCT3

Last CS question, what path covers do you use, and what fencing are you using for adventure land? Thanks again, and this is looking great!

What set did you use for the mutiny bay castle? It looks great (ALL OF IT!). Keep up the magical work!

Re: Alton Towers video game

Why not make it a series of mini-games themed around the different areas (e.g N3m3s1s shooter)?

The Smiler - Other Discussion

I saw the rooms the other day, opposite the lift on the top floor of the AT hotel. They look pretty cool, I must admit!

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion

Looking at a few of the videos, I get the impression that the track size etc is on the scale of something like a B&M? Not sure why, but I always imagined the track etc to be the size of 13's, but with a tri-rail  The track is huge. Really, you cannot begin to imagine scale and size until y...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Just got back from towers. Phew! I won't post pictures as the others seem to have shown all activity. I must say, this thing is ready to go! Only about 2 areas of queue need painting, but that's about it. Queue screens were testing today. They show basically the 5 mind manipulating elements (as on t...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

3 staff/builders have confirmed night testing for the past 2 days. Also, tickler is testing, and there's a guy taking pictures from the hypnotiser leg. I'll report back later!

EDIT: Hypno's testing now

What are those yellow things on the far left of the pic did they get used for anything?

They sat there all day, half covered by tarpaulin. Nobody touched them.

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Workers are currently painting the mesh 'roofing' in a greyish colour. Yellow plastic/ metal is under some tarpaulin near the shop, resting on top of the queue. 2 guys are working on car wheels and there are staff with litter pickers and brooms in the plaza thing (near enterprise). Pictures this eve...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

In mutiny bay ATM. Must say, the Smiler is huge (the pit is massive!). Passed it first thing, and fence work is going on near the Staffordshire knot. Loads of tarpaulin over the queue near the queue line shop. To stop rust maybe? Anyway, I'll keep you all updated. :moj

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

After looking at the site, It's clear that things are coming together. Whatever the problem is, it can't be to do with the ride. Maybe it did stall, but that wouldn't cause such a long delay. I have a feeling that H&S came down and said that AT needed to install more mesh/safety net things etc. ...

Re: The Smiler - Marketing [May Contain Spoilers]

Has anybody noticed that the cameras and TVs have vanished from the bottom of the V-Lift (in game)? Probably doesn't mean much, but just thought I'd bring it to your attention.
