I'm pretty sure they do still work. Personally I dislike them (not sure why).

Ah good, I think they add to the fun, especially the loud one at the top!

They make me jump every time haha!

Re: Your Top Ten Coasters

1) Nemesis 2) Nemesis Inferno 3) The Swarm (it seems to be getting more forceful every time i ride - love it!) 4) Stealth 5) TH13TEEN 6) The Smiler (would be number 2. but too rough to re-ride lots unfortunately) 7) Colossus (this could be in my top 5 but the restraints are horrible!) 8) Oblivion 9)...

Re: At what age can you not handle thrill rides anymore?

Re: Fun City Brean

I'm loving the setting Speed Wave is on from the looks of the video, hope it is like that next Friday when I visit... it's how Samurai at Thorpe Park has been the last few years, and is so much fun on an easy setting - this year Samurai is on an intense setting and I really just don't enjoy it with...

Re: Thorpe Park - Next Coaster 2016?

Thorpe are using Stealth as their iconic coaster in their advertising now, so i don't think anything higher or relatively close to the hight of stealth is going to be a feature of the latest coaster, as it would make stealth almost seem pointless as a launch coaster with a top hat - i'm still not su...

Re: The American Adventure Runaway Train

Stumbled across this on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Brveusokeo I was not aware it had operated anywhere other than Nottingham Goose Fair, for just the one year after AA closed its doors. Is there any way of tracking its movements, as this video has taken me by surprise, and I would real...

Re: Thorpe Park - The Future

I'm all for big coasters and need my adrenaline rush, but i also love fun enjoyable rides while being somewhat thrilling, like Sonic Spinball / Dragons Fury & TH13TEEN. I reckon a family launched coaster like Juvelen (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0D_aVPYPWE) with its multiple launches which ...

Re: What type of major flat would you like to see next?

I think each land needs to try and accommodate in some way for all ages (besides young children which isn't always possible when they have their own exclusive lands anyway), but Forbidden Valley has The Blade for families and well not short of thrill rides, X sector seems to be exclusive to thrill s...

Re: Whats with all the hate for charlie?

I felt exactly the same about the ride... I have been on Toyland Tours, although was a bit too young to remember it in its entirety. The boat ride aspect of CATCF is a bit meh and nothing special, although i do think it's a decently themed ride as well as the videos shown on the projectors are quite...

Re: Oakwood developments

Well the play area is confirmed which is going in Neverland, teacups have opened in circus land... And wild west area now looks closed off in the pictures which suggests the new land is replacing - I don't see how they have left themselves enough time to do anything major for this summer... Maybe re...

Re: Thorpe Park - The Future

Do we know what Helix cost? I heard it was just over 20million... not sure if this is true, and if that's in euros or pounds? I also heard the base cost of a Mack coaster like Alpina Blitz at Nigoland is under £5million!!! i would love thorpe to get one of these with amazing themeing with leftover ...

Re: The Future of RITA..

I don't think Rita deserves the abuse it gets... I'm not saying i love the ride, but i did use to hate it, and thought it was so pointless when Thorpe get a ride like Stealth shortly after... but realising over the past years the reasoning behind why Rita isn't very high, and noticing how good airti...

Re: Funderworld

I LOVE funderworld, think I've been the last 4 years, and literally was gutted as there was no news, at least its coming back in a different half term, even if its only for a week! To be honest I don't know why I care about questioning where else it visits as, as long as if it's in Bristol, I'm happ...

Funderworld

So after Funderworld setting up at Bristol every Easter half term for 2 weeks for the past years, to hear nothing this year, they've finally released that they will be at Birstol in the May Half term 23rd May - 1st June. Funderworld is apparently the nations favourite travelling theme park, and admi...
