Re: The Future of Sonic Spinball

Just a random thought, considering they have the rights to cebeebies, could they replace adventure land with a mini cbbc land, and theme sonic spinball to a popular/relavent tv programme (as cebeebies would be too young of a market for a ride like sonic spinball), as well as add a new family thrilli...

Re: Alton Towers - Offers, Vouchers and Discounts

Just in case anyone doesn't buy the sun... the promotional code for the 50% off hotel rooms is 'S5014', as stated earlier there are restrictions on dates, and there are also only a certain amount of rooms allocated with the 50% off.

So both Raptor (before) and now this (after), are better in every way, than The Swarm, all from Merlin - gotta love the UK! -.-

Re: Does anybody know whats happening with the court case???

It's just ridiculous considering the amount of jobs the park creates for the local areas, and bringing tourism into the surrounding areas like staying in hotels, visiting other attractions, etc.

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

So does anyone know the terms and conditions of these birthday vouchers as part of our perk packs that still haven't arrived! As my birthday is Tuesday May 6th, and wondering how they class a week either side, so would it be okay to use on Tuesday 29th April?

Re: Legoland Windsor - General Discussion

Has anyone ever been Legoland in the easter holidays and would be so kind to comment on how full of little brats it is?

I want to go as my mate will be back from uni then and it's the only time we can go, just not sure if it's worth it with how big the queues would be...

Re: Fun City Brean

Has anyone visited in August before... As I'm debating whether to go another time, although it would be most convenient to go then, just worried about queues as I don't think I've ever queued really when visiting on weekends outside of holidays, besides like 10mins for xtreme. Thanks.

Re: Best ride at Legoland?

I really enjoy think it's called squid surfer? But all Lego land have done is removed their good rides like the coaster that got moved to Lego land Florida etc. I've seen the investment the other Lego land parks have been getting and Lego land is getting barely anything... I really do wonder how the...

Re: The Future of RITA..

If it could have new trains with a lower height restriction its the sort of ride I could see being moved to Chessington...

Although I do enjoy Rita, just a shame it lacks and inversion, as well as some decent themeing since the area became dark forest, as it looked alright in ug land.

Re: Thorpe Park's Terrible Car Park System

The gravel/stones is horrible, and when you got a little 1 litre Toyota Aygo, you always feel like you're never going to get out! Drayton Manor's Parking system annoys me, as on a visit in summer 2012 & 13, as well as a visit to the firework event last year... I have paid parking either online o...

Re: Thorpe Park's Terrible Car Park System

I personally think Legoland is the worst for getting out, not due to paying on the barriers... but on two occasions last year, one a quiet weekday, and the other in half term, queued in excess of 30/40 minutes to get out, due to it being just off the main road with rush hour traffic jams on the main...

Re: Thorpe Park - Next Coaster 2016?

Well apparently there's another Saw movie being made (?)... and with Thorpe's Lionsgate link with Fright Nights etc. I doubt we'll see the Saw IP going anywhere just yet!

Lightwater Valley

Can't seem to find a topic, but seeing online recently about the losses the park has been having over past couple of years i'm determined to visit just in case the park takes a turn for the worse... just wondering if the park is worth me staying an extra night when visiting flamingoland to visit lig...

Re: Thorpe Park - Next Coaster 2016?

Unfortunately it's almost certain that the new coaster will not be in 2015, maybe not even 2016...that 3 year structure doesn't have to be kept to, it's just something they have had since saw in 2009 - it will just be dependant on what budget they're given and what they can do with it... in terms of...

Re: General Thorpe Park Discussion

Well it's a business, that's what most businesses aim to do... and more so now they have shareholders unfortunately - they were bad enough before for only doing things if it would give them a decent enough return (which is why rides are left in despair as refurbishing them costs money, but won't hav...

Re: SW8

I mean if they were going to build a cross valley coaster, it wouldn't have to be wooden... a wing rider in that situation would be good, although probably would require more trees to be moved due to the width of the trains from the track... i wouldn't like to see a wing rider at alton towers otherw...
