Re: The Smiler - Speculation

hopefully not 4d. with ice age 4d, it would look too much like AT are latching onto the gimmick. i hope it's something with more of a lasting impact. Wrong 4D. Look up X2 Six Flags Magic Mountain, that kind of 4D. i mean more having two rides listed as 4d doesn't sound as exciting as a totally uniq...

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

plausible that they changed the wording to add rise to speculation, but their marketing team are top notch. i can't imagine they'd specifically change the phrasing without having a reason to do so.

by world beating i think it means beating the world record of most inversions. that seems most plausible. sorry if it's already been mentioned!

Re: Question regarding the 'Preview Weekend'

it's basically like going to see a dress rehearsal of a play rather than the first production. everyone should be doing exactly their jobs, but kinks to be ironed out may be highlighted, problems solved, it's generally a professional practice run, so to speak

Re: [Idea] X-Sector : The Activation Party

it's a good concept but way too big for the potential scale for the park's opening. Helicopters are a total no-go and I'm not really sure what the dancers would have to do with a military operation haha. Actors would cost a lot to be a permanent addition (think Scarefest rate of pay - 10 actors at £...

Re: Paying with cash

Yeah, you can still pay cash only. It's towards the station / drop off point - a long trailer-kinda point. Yeah, you can use 241 there, just hand it over - same with the free vouchers.

Re: Nemesis the Movie?

At first I wasnt excited until someone said B-movie. This could be hilariously good and J wardley has experience of B-movies. A B-movie would be awesome, especially with the recent cult success of Hobo With A Shotgun re-inventing the genre, and it would bring back a little more of an older audience...

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

I find Nemesis great because it's a brilliant ride with good themeing. If SW7 is to pull it off and beat the all mighty Nemesis, it needs to have good, original themeing, a smooth and enjoyable ride and (if there is one), a non-gimmicky, exciting worlds first. I'm sure SW7 will be a great ride but ...

I'm auditioning on August 22nd. Hope it works out! I've never been to Scarefest, but I've always wanted to. I think this will be a good alternative for me.
