Re: Going it Alone

It was saturday and the que was 130 mins wait :( The queue was horrendous all day on Saturday when I was there! Thankfully, we bought Fastracks as soon as we got in because, as much as I don't think it's morally right, when you drive for 5 hours to get to the park you do want to try and make the mo...

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion

I tweeted AT yesterday to ask whether it'll be open on my visit (27th/28th) and they said it was planned to be open. Maybe they have had these downtime period planned for a while, sort of like a 3 month review or something?

Re: 2014-2019: Possible Developments?

Me and my friend were discussing some new instalments yesterday and I thought Id share them here. SW8 (2016) - Either a B&M 4D concept on Car Park C (or is it G, I forget) behind Air, or a cross valley Hyper from B&M (if the entrance is at Forbidden Valley) or Intamin (if the entrance is at ...

Re: The Smiler

I think it's fair to say that The Smiler is the new best ride on park! My first correction was yesterday morning. We ended up getting Front Row on our first go, which was great. I was on the far right, and I thought it was very nice to ride there. After the first drop into the inline corkscrew as I'...

Re: Alton Towers RCT2

TATP this is just amazing! Can't wait to see the Rapids and KC itself finished up, it'll look great! As for the next area... what about Mutiny Bay? Fairly flat and just really lots of buildings?

[RCT3 Mini-Project]: Thunder Forest

I was rather bored when I woke up this morning, so I decided to embark on a mini-project on RCT3. And this was the result. I found the plans in a notebook from last year and decided that was a good idea to build it. Enjoy guys! N.B. - This was my first time custom supporting, just so you know Thunde...

Re: User Names

Me and my friend both have the same first name, so we just use our initial ("J") followed by our surname around our group of friends so we don't get confused. The copious amount of "a"'s in my name comes from everybody pronouncing my nickname that way, drawing out the a quite a l...

Re: Alton Towers RCT2

Dark Forest looks absolutely AMAZING! Great job! I can't seem to get Rita right ever and then TH13TEEN just ends up a mess so I have never seen it completed like this before. Absolutely fantastic! Loving Forbidden Valley too :D The next area that USED to be fairly straight forward was X-Sector, but ...

Re: Lewis97's Custom Signatures

Hey Lewis! Seeing as you're so AWESOME at these would you be able to do me an Air themed one? It would be great if you could, and just have "Jack" on it rather than Jevaaaaans if you can :) Thanks!

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

There's a few Scottish schools on park today (mine is for sure) as its May holiday tomorrow and Monday (our equivalent to half term). Last year when I went there were around 50 schools of 200 so it might be the same this year. Funny they were expecting The Smiler to open, I suspect it's my jealous o...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

As much as it's clear everybody's upset about it not being open, just look on the bright side. Would you rather it open, break down with you in it and put yourself, your friends, your family, at danger? Or would you rather they just leave it closed for a few extra days so it's actually safe for use?...

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

I think this belongs here, I don't really know. In the full video with Laura Tobin from Daybreak ( http://vimeo.com/65887753 ), when she stops on the brakes before the vertical lift she says something about a clock counting down then says "Get Corrected" then laughs. Have we heard anythin...
